**Disney Princess classics on ice**

I'm thinking of taking my 3 1/2yr old DD to see this at Wembley in October (in prep for trip instead of panto). I have never been to a Disney on ice thing, if anybody has could they let me know what it was like.

I see that this particular show has done the last two nights in Glasgow, if anybody has already been, how was it?

A group of family and friends go to this every year (20 in total) at the MEN arena. We are a mixture of children, adults,and even the grandparents go. A good time is had by all.
Next year is the Incredibles.

I've been to 3 now and every time is so much fun, wonderful choreography, great disney music and characters that your kids know, it really is a good night out. I highly recommend it. Watch out for all the disney merchandise on sale though, it will sting your wallet

I tried to get tickets for the Manchester showing as soon as I saw the TV advert, but they only had 2nd tier left...no good really. Shame, it looked good.

It might be worth another call to them tron.We couldn't make our minds up so, i didn't call till 2 weeks ago and got 4 tickets for MEN on the 30th,bottom tier.

How long does the show generally last, can anybody remember?

We are going on Saturday . Let you know how we go. I'm off to the Disneytore this afternoon to buy some gifts so we don't get stung at the venue with the overpriced stuff !

I think they are about 2 hours in length with a 20 minute interval, but someone should be able to tell you after the weekend

I've been to the 2 toy story ones and last years they are great fun and my ds loves them only wish i could go this year but as it's princesses i havn't got a chance.
Go ahead and go they're well worth it but as disneyangel says it is pricey for souveniers i usually take my son to the disney store after and let him choose something if nothing really catches his eye.
Also i would avoid the slush in a mug(last year it was stitch) the mug was really cute but you got a block of ice balls(i am not exagerating)which were stuck solid with juice poured over it very messy and not worth the money at all.
Have fun if you do decide to go.

Dbf and I are seeing it in Nottingham next thursday! Be warned-I saw it last year and the music made me go all emotional -lol I want to go back to disney!

We've just got back from the Glasgow show

It was fab . Lots of fabulous costumes ,original disney music and some added extra's . I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Made me even more excited about my DLRP trip (hope the strikes will be over by then )

Only downside was the overprice souveniers - £5,50 for an ice drink in a fancy plastic cup or some candy floss with a plastic crown and they were the cheap ones !!!

Lots of the girls (including our two )were wearing their costumes.

Oh dear DD always insisted that DH buys us candyfloss to share. mmmm may have to steer her past that stall
