Disney Princess Brides - No Coach?

:rotfl2: WOW! I wasn't getting defensive, and neither was I apologizing for YOUR mistake, simply pointing out why I thought you were a spammer. And I did not call you stupid. AND I was NOT "all over your butt". For pete's sake, you act like I cursed at you, saying I called you names! Just....wow.

I apologized for my mistake and said I posted the wrong link. I corrected my error and you still harp on me. Your attitude towards me stinks and you have no reason to be that way. None at all. You continue to be disparaging even after the correct link to the article was posted.

Just leave me alone already, will you?

Wow -- I thought this was a nice place, as several of you had pointed out it was. I can feel the sarcasm seeping through.

Oh no sorry you took me the wrong way, just meant I'm going to go look at yummy cakes and things too :goodvibes no sarcasm intended

Congratulations on your wedding, I sincerely hope it is everything you ever wanted.

Wow stop scratching eachothers eyes out.

There are some ladies ho are trying to be as helpful and suportive as possible and some (you know who you are) who obviously feel they have been around longer so have the right to put down newer members maybe you really need to think how you would feel if someone pounced on you like that or have you forgotten what it is yo be human since you became an over indulged bridzeilla?

PS: I might join you for the cake vewing we don't get cakes like that in the UK they are all stale fruit cake with hard sugar and marzipan icing.

Wow -- nice edit after calling me an idiot, PartofDisney'sWorld. If you can't stand up for what you originally write, then don't write it. And I doubt your sincerity after calling me an idiot.

no carriage for me, but i would say that 85% of disney brides on here go for the carriage option even though it is a HUGE waste of money. thats just my humble opinion though, please dont attack me for it.

No attack from me. Everyone has their own feelings and I respect that. Just as long as nobody calls anyone names, eh?

Wow, it got a little ugly in here. :sad2:

Welcome and I hope you'll stay because there is a lot of really great info in this forum! Don't let a few comments drive you back into lurkdom. I think that if you want a carriage then go for it! There will always be something that another bride won't agree with or will call "tacky" but it is your wedding day and it is about expressing YOUR likes. So go for it! The good thing about destination weddings is that they are usually smaller and the guests tend to be people that you're really close with so you don't have to worry about judgment as much.

So just out of curiosity, since everyone was talking about it being expensive...does anyone know offhand how much it costs? Or what it looks like? I know I can google it, but I figured you all would be a better filter!

$2,850

Until I started lurking here, I had no idea that brides could use Cinderella's coach! I figured that was just used in the parades. I honestly had no idea that you could actually rent it IRLfor and ride in it!

(not the same as Cindy's parade coach)

Just to clarify....

And at Disneyland

And those are all photos from real weddings, not Disney Wedding promos.

If I recall correctly that $2850 is for an hour or less. I want to even say a half hour.

Just my opinion here...

If I were getting married doing the white gown thing and all and was having my wedding at Disney and had the extra money to splurge on the carriage - I would do it in a heartbeat!

I think it might be a bit...out of place...if you had something like that in your hometown for example. People wouldn't be used to seeing that and may think it was silly.

But...it's your wedding (no matter where you have it) and if having the carriage at Disney or something similar at your wedding at home - do it! It all comes down to...it's YOUR wedding...do what you would like.
