Anyone know where I can find a inexpensive twin comforter?? I dont want to pay alot because she is going to be in a twin bed temporarily. I would love to see any pictures of princess bedrooms that you have done!!
You can buy a disney comforter at Sears, Walmart, Kmart, maybe JCPenny. There are also many non-disney princess-like comforters at those stores and at Target.
I'm currently putting together DD's room and have decided not to use a disney princess comforter and just do something princess-like instead. I figure a generic theme will last longer. I'm doing a princess-shabbychic-english cottage type of look. Her bedding will be a light pink/lilac/green quilt.
Have you looked on ebay? We are currently in the process of building a new house and my dd's new room will be Disney Princess. I am using a basic comforter, patchwork with pastel colors and then all the accessories will be princesses. I've been doing a lot of Disney princess searches on ebay but haven't actually looked at the comforters since I already have one, but there are some cute accessories. Now if I could just stop buying the accessories....
That's the crown cornice I was looking for the other day. It's really cute!
I did my DD's room in a kind of Princess/shabby chic look. We just got an old headboard and footboard and painted it cream colored with a light green, and then added crackle finish to it. It turned out quite well, and best of all it was free! It had been sitting out in my garage for quite a while. I also hung an old window we found that is painted in white finish and is crackled and old. Lots of things you can do with that theme on the cheap!
Not sure about the comforters but did you know Home Depot now does Disney doors? There are Pooh doors, Princess doors, Tink doors, Finding Nemo, absolutely adorable.
