Disney Princess And Me dolls

I found a commercial of some dolls called Princess And Me and I would like to know more about them? They were made by Jakks Pacific and consisted of a Cinderella doll an Ariel doll a Belle doll and a Tiana doll. These dolls were the size of an American Girl doll and dressed in their signature outfits. And there was even child size outfits that matched the dolls and furniture too. Later on a Merida doll was added to the set. Did the Princess and Me dolls not sell well or was their audience reaction weak?
