I also try to get something for all of my close relatives and friends. My nephews are 8 and 14, and I always get them a couple of the ink pens that have been shaped like a Disney character at the top. They love them, and everyone can use an ink pen. I, too, ask for the small bags and put a few other Disney candies, etc... in them for everyone. My mom always loves to get the soaps and lotions from the resorts, so I take a big bar of soap from home, and keep the soaps and lotions daily. The mousekeeping will replenish them everyday. This is a way to have some free stuff for your gift bags, too.... Hope this helps!!

Thank you all for the ideas. I just love to hear from everyone and get all the different ideas and put them into one. I have always kept the soaps and stuff from the rooms because we wont stay anywhere off the site. It just takes away from the magic! But I have never thought about keeping them for friends! What a great idea. Me and my brother's girlfriend have our own room this time and she doesn't keep things like that. Let's just say there won't be anything in the bathrooms after every day! I just hope the hotel doesn't mind if I take a bunch of them. I am sure that I will tip. Speaking of that, what is the usual way to tip? leave it on the table or what? I have never done that before. All input is welcome.

mickey/wdw pens, mugs and christmas ornaments are three of my favorite small priced souvenirs.

if your friends are in high school i'm sure they'd appreciate pens!

If you have access to a car you could try the Disney outlet store at Belz. You could get some really nice discounted merchandise there. I've gotten keychains for $1.50 and a mickey head tealight candle holder that was originally $22 but discounted down to $3.00

That might be a good idea.

Speaking of that, what is the usual way to tip?

Put it in an envelope, and put For our mousekeeper on it. Their are some cute designs you can download from the mouseforless.com or you can make your own.

Thank you everyone for your GREAT ideas! As I am counting down the days until I leave for my second home, I am going through the souvenirs that I have gotten in the past and trying to remember the prices. It looks like now I am going to have well over 300 dollars so I can do a little more for the friends that I am closer too. You all have helped a great deal with my planning. I am a big planner and already have everything I want to see and do on my trip. At the top of my list, SHOPPING!!! And of course riding ToT over and over again. Thanks again!

There is also a Disney Character Premiere store in the outlet center right across I-4 from Downtown Disney. (It's either Prime Outlets or Premium - I can't remember.) I always get great deals there - usually 50% or more off the prices in the parks.
