Anyone use this with any luck? It took an entire night to install from the web site and we just have access to the same Bear-led activities about Bravery. I entered my CC info and was expecting more. I was wondering if I need to free up some space on my computer or if the web site is just mediocre. DD4 is a little disappointed, so I thought I'd stop by here to see if anyone has any input.

Thanks!

We tried it too. It sounds like you did everything right. You only get the Bear Bravery activity at first. Supposedly it will update at some point, but we didn't keep it long enough for that to happen.

It was too easy for DD, and she got bored. I think she had just turned 4 when we tried it. When I called to cancel, they asked for a reason so I told them. The rep said that more activities become available and that it will adjust to the childs skill level. That's fine, but if it can't hold a prescoolers attention in the beginning they're not going to continue wanting to play it.

Anyway we cancelled and I just bought her some regular computer games.

We use preschool time online and my DS does love it. They send a complete lesson every other week. Normally the lessons have 6 parts. Each one is a different character, Pooh, Mickey Mouse, JoJo's circus etc. Bear does the introduction, and the letter and number of the day, but that is normally it. The lessons are broken up into different skill sets, Pooh is normally letters, Mickey is normally reading comprehension and I think JoJo is normally numbers. There is also the backyard that he likes to play in that has coloring, music videos, and storybooks that they will read to you. We have had it for over a year now with no regrets. I do think you can buy software that is just as good, but my DS likes the fact the lessons change every other week. He had a tendency to get tired of the same games on the software I had bought.

I got so aggrivated that it wasn't working properly that I called today to cancel. I was also a bit annoyed that they charged my credit card during the 7 day free trial. :confused3

I thought perhaps my settings weren't allowing something to go through, but I tried it on all our computers and none of them worked properly. Oh well.

Yes ... sounds like the problems here. I haven't decided yet ... still a couple days to go, but my CC may already be charged! UGH!

I am actually thinking of signing DD who is 3 up.... Can you use it on different computers? She goes to her grandparents on the weekends and I would like her to be able to play it there.

Well I did just sign my DD up but had problems with the installation. It did take quite a long time to download the program then I actully had to have their tech support call me to get it working. It seems that I needed to download some drivers that were out-of date on for my computer and then it was working perfectly. My DD seems to really love it and I think it is a great program so far....
