Disney Premier Visa questions

We have been a cash only family for over 10 years now. I finally broke down and applied for the Disney Visa. I choose the Priemier because I ran the numbers and we will spend more than enough to justify the $49.00 a year fee. Now I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer:

1) Does the 2% reward for grocery purchases include gift cards puchased at a grocery store? We buy Disney gift cards at our local Kroger for the gas perks and I want to make sure I will get the 2% when I do.

2) If I make a purchase and then pay it off before the bill runs will I still get the reward dollars? I would prefer to pay as I go like I do with my debit card but don't want to screw up the rewards.

3) Are there any gotchas with using the card to pay bills? I was thinking of putting all our monthly expenses on the card and just paying the card off each month. Has anyone done this and encountered problems (i.e - the utility company charged a fee that offset the amount of the reward?)

4) one final silly quesion - I am regretting the theme I picked for my card. Is it a big deal to change it?

Disney Visa doesn't care what you buy just where you buy it. So as long as the store is under the grocery category, you are good.

You will still get rewards.

This just depends on the company. Most of my utilities are good with auto-pay on credit with no additional fees. I find that it tends to be the government agencies (property taxes, DMV, etc) that like to charge an additional % if you use a credit card.

4) one final silly quesion - I am regretting the theme I picked for my card. Is it a big deal to change it?
You will be able to change it via chase.com easily.

We signed up for this card back in Nov. We use this card like using our checking account. When my husband gets paid each week, I pay for that week's purchases then. So I pay our card once a week or 4 times a month. It works for us. We have already earned $248 in reward dollars. I have not yet purchased gift cards at a grocery store on the card yet but I have purchased them at walmart. My walmart comes up as a grocery store purchase on my card. So those gift cards that I purchased there did earn me the 2% reward. Certain bills of ours like the cable, and electric do charge a fee. For those I do not put on my card. I only pay our bills that do not charge a fee like cell phones, etc... Just try giving Chase a call and ask about changing the theme. You'll also get extras by using your card while at Disney World. Like you get a free character photo meet and greet at Epcot, discounts at certain Disney restaurants. We are happy with the card so far.
