Disney Popcorn

LOVE LOVE LOVE this popcorn!!! We like to get the big buckets and use them for sand buckets on beach trips/even playground trips once we get back home. ::sigh:: Now ya'll have got me craving some!!


(and yes, I do believe it is dairy free. I am lactose intolerant and can devour it w/ no problems)

My daughter could live off popcorn!!

We bought a bucket last year and devoured it in no time!!

Good thing we did, because later that day, we learned that daughter has a nervous stomach.

She would get nauseous before each ride, no matter how wild or tame!

Since we still had the bucket with us, we let her .... um... ''use it'' while standing in line.

Their popcorn is crazy addicting. My sister and I bought popcorn every day of our 6 day trip lol.

I also agree it is the best popcorn!! I do know they only use Orval Redenbacher popcorn. Wonder if it some sort of topping or popping oil sold by the same company?

Those buckets also hold one bag of microwaved popcorn when you get back home. I often fix one and stuff the bucket in a large tote and smuggle it into the movie theater when we go. It sure beats the prices they charge.

But I HATE the popcorn!! Aw Im sorry if I have just hurt some of your feelings. I really don't like salted popcorn and it has to be sweet so it's not for me.

BUT I do agree it smells fantastic!! x

ok, so if you get the big bucket, can you get a refill? How much does it cost? My DD (oh, and me too) LOVE disney popcorn. We get a box everyday!

I can't say what makes it taste good, as I cannot eat (it contains coconut oil, and I'm allergic). But I can say it is the best smelling popcorn.

It is interesting that you mentioned the smell. In fact after taking the "Keys To The Kingdom" tour I learned that the popcorn being popped at 8:00 AM is rarely sold, but they pop the corn specifically to add to their planed guest experience. Disney wanted the guests entering the park to be entering into a movie. Think about it. You buy your ticket, pass through a small tunnel lined with Movie posters, the smell of fresh popped corn hits your senses, and then walla you are now in the movie! The names you find on the second floor windows also are meant to symbolize the credits of the movie. Some of names by the way were the ones used by the agents who bought land clandestinely for Disney in Orlando in order to build Disney World. Ahhh the subtleties of Disney Magic.
