Disney Plus Payment with Disney Gift Card?

I thought I read that you could purchase the year subscription of Disney Plus using Disney Gift cards however when I go to the sign up page I only see credit cards as payment. Was I just imagining I could use gift cards or is there some other way to do this?
If I'm going to be a shut in I need all the help I can get.....

I checked when I got back, sadly no. I will break down this weekend and purchase, surprise for the girls.
