don't charge for any FP+ , EVER , and don't give extra FP+ to guests staying at any of your resorts , or Annual Passholders , or anyone for that matter .
In addition , can you please allow 4 FP+ for the MK ? I believe 3 is fair for the other three parks (at least for now) however because the MK has so many more attractions available it should get an additional FP+.

Yeah Disney, please don't reward people who give you more money and commitment, and PLEASE for the love of god don't attempt to make money.

That is what I am thinking. I think the FP+ was only for resort guests and AP holders, they could build a few new resorts as more might want to stay there to take advantage of it. But then I think why would Disney want to make even more money at this point....

I can't see Disney having enough capacity to give everyone three and then give even more to those who stay in more expensive resorts. I can't see them selling extra ones either unless they charge a lot to keep demand down. Those themeparks that offer them as a perk or for sale have a lot more capacity compared to number of resorts than WDW so it works for them.

But who knows? After what has happened, nothing surprises me now.

Charging for them? No. Giving more to those staying at on-site resorts? Yes. I have no problem with that. Will not pay a dime extra for additional passes though.

I hope the opposite. I would love to get extra for being a resort guest, and I would even more like to be able to pay for an unlimited front of line pass like you can at Universal. I'd pay in a second.

Yeah how dare Disney reward people that spend more money!

This is like the post complaining about all the magical amazing perks that DVC members get.

If I stay offsite and pay out of pocket for signature dining for a week, can I also get more? I'm spending more money after all.

I just don't see Disney going for this, at least not overtly.

what Walt Disney himself intended when he got the idea for Disneyland . And I don't think he would like this practice if it is ever enacted . It should be equal access to anyone with any type of admission . At least that's what I think and how I believe Uncle Walt would want it as well . They certainly have the right to do whatever they want with their product and I don't begrudge them making a profit ...however I and I believe many other people think that Disney has always separated themselves from the rest of the pack by offering a superior family product and not bleeding their customers dry with extra costs just to enjoy their day at the parks . I'm afraid of WDW establishing a class system if the give these as extra perks for onsite guests and/or charging for additional FP+ .

Coming from someone who has *NEVER* stayed on property, I have no problems at all with on-site guests getting an extra FP+ or 2. I also have no problems with them being able to book in advance. And no problem with a limited number being available for everyone and extras available for a price.

feel that ME , EMH , etc. are enough perks for us to stay onsite as well as specific amenities and services offered at each individual resort . Anything else perk wise for staying onsite should have nothing to do with in park access to rides, parades, or shows . Again just my humble opinion .

I know when it comes to it Disney is a company and its ultimate goal is to make money, and this may come from me growing up poor, but I always thought there was something magical about once you entered the parks everyone was the same. Everyone had the same shot at meeting a princess, riding a ride or seeing the fireworks no matter how much money they had. We usually stay on property and can probably learn to live with just three fastpasses but somehow knowing some people can buy more "magic" will just make the place seem less special.

This is why they will never charge. They may not follow everything Disney wanted but creating a pass like Universal would completely undermine everything they were founded on. They have enough methods to separate you from your money. Charging would backfire and would be a public relations nightmare.

Um.... couldn't someone buy more e-tickets back when MK first opened? Therefore they could do more than someone who bought less.

ETA: This is an actual question. I'm only in my 20s and have no idea how it truly worked when it first opened.

I'm young as well but understand the ticket system did allow you to "buy" more rides. My comment and feelings can only come from my travels and those come from the years in which a ticket allowed everyone the same experience.

used to operate on this type of admission system . Not just Disney . In many cases you didn't even pay to get into the parks only for the ride tickets . Some rides required 2 tickets to ride some 3 and some 4 . The ride operator would collect your tickets as he admitted you into the ride or show . The tickets were purchased either individually or in books of preset amounts .

Yes, you could buy more E tickets or whatever they were called. I think that was it. Anyway, I remember us begging my father, "please, can you buy more tickets?!! I know I can ride "It's a Small World" 5 times with what we have left but I want to ride Space!! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!"...... :rotfl: Ah, memories. :goodvibes lol

Yep, I remember the books. We always left at the end of the night with a few books full of unused "lesser" rides.
