Disney plans without dragging around a planner

If you don't plan on using MDE try this

Type it out ..
Put it in Google Docs.
Google Docs has the option of saving a document LOCALLY on your phone/tablet so if you don't have a connection you can still view it.

It's where I have my entire travel plans for my upcoming Disney trip.

I used a little notebook (about 3 inches square, with Winnie the Pooh on!) for FP+ times and ADR times and numbers, etc. Plenty of room, and as it was spiral bound, I ripped pages out when they were done with.

I had everything typed up with the times of FP+, dining reservations times and reservation numbers, or what restaurants were near the attractions we would be at around lunch time, anything we didn't want to miss. Then I put that information into little folded booklet (google images for "one sheet 8 page book") and printed up a bunch of them. They fold small enough to fit into a wallet or pocket, made a bunch extra before we left in case of rain damage. And if we want to meet up later, we already have an idea where the others will be.

One sheet was enough for a 7-day trip. Just had to make the print really tiny.

I write in my planner or notebook and take a photo of the page with my phone, then I set the photo as the wallpaper on my lockscreen. Alternatively, write the list on an index card and keep it in my pocket.

I'm not a phone person.

Last trip, I printed up one index card per day with our ADR and fastpasses on it.
This is exactly what I did, except I included our general touring plan like OP listed above. I laminated the index cards and gave a set to my husband. Worked great!

I don't have nearly as specific plans as that, but anything I can't view in MDE, I type it up on the Notes section of my iPhone and keep it there. Doesn't require any wifi or cell service at all, and if I change plans on the fly, I can edit them in much easier. I will include FPs and ADRs in the note too just to be reminded, despite that they are in MDE too. I take only small cross body bags with me, so it's a lot more compact than carrying extra cards or papers. I rarely use my phone in Disney, just to take a few quick pictures or check in at home, so I don't have to worry about draining my phone doing this either.

All of my plans are on my calendar which is on my phone...which connects to my Apple Watch so I can just glance at my wrist. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

I've used note cards and that worked really well with my extended family, since we wouldn't always be together and that way they had their FPs and ADRs written down. I made one for each person for each day. When it is just my immediate family I use the Touring Plans lines app too. I also just use MDE too, since I basically have my TP memorized by the time we are there, to check wait times and shift around FPs when necessary.

I have all of our plans on an Excel spreadsheet, tabbed by day. I plan on uploading it to dropbox and open on my phone.

I typed out my FPs and ADRs for each day, formatted for index cards, printed those out (cardstock) and took them with me each day.

I also took a picture of each of these so they were on my phone. Making one your lock screen each day works great. I wanted the paper backup in case my phone died, though. I texted the photos to the rest of my family, so they had the info too.

I don't take anything more detailed though - just FPs and ADRs. The times for the shows and characters are on the times sheets in the park, so it's not critical that you have this info on a separate sheet or photo. FPs and ADRs are different.

I also did index cards in the past, put into a little $1 soft-sided photo album I got at the Wal-Marts. But on the last trip I made the switch over to keeping my lists on my phone. I use Google Keep. I wanted something that would be available regardless of having an internet connection, which is why I didn't go with Google Docs.

WHAT? HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS?

I'm another touring plans app user. I needed the detailed schedule like your's because I was the "tour guide" for nine people - all were totaly relying on me to tell them where to go next, literally!

If you do a personlized plan, you do have to go through the process of selecting everything you want. But I don't think it's as slow and tedious as MDE. There are many premade plans that you can customize by copying it into a new plan.

I printed out each day's plan and made copies for all the adults since we didn't always stay together. It was great to be able to make adjustments on the go as we needed...I texted the changes and they just scratched things out on their copy and made notes out to the side.

How do you keep track of your Disney plans for the day without dragging a big huge planner with you around the parks? I would like a phone option. I know that I could do MDE, but I feel like it is very time consuming to enter in each ride we want to do in the proper order. Is there a faster way? I'd like to hear what other people do.
So for example, I want to record info like this.
Hollywood Studios
TSM no FP
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Movie Ride
FP TSM
Muppets
Lunch at Pizza Planet
Car Show at 1:00
FP Star Tours
Naps/swim at hotel
FP Tower of Terror 5-6 pm
Dinner at ....
Fantasmic 7:30 pm

My smartphone has a notes app. I just put my list of items in there it doesn't require wifi or data to look at it. It also has a calendar that is linked to my google account so I can put info in the google calendar on my computer and pull it up on my phone also with out wifi or data.

Also I take a screen capture of my MDE day and then make it my lock screen so I can look without even unlocking my phone.

I do use my MDE to look at waiting times and the such but I've always had really good luck with the Disney wifi or I just use my data (I have never gone over my usage allowance and I use AT&T and get great reception in the parks except for one or two dead zones that I already know to avoid.)

I will often carry a small lipstick charger but even then I've very rarely needed to use it as I tend to end up at my room at some point in the day.

Oddly enough with all my lovefest for my phone (love my phone love the ability to use my phone love the ability to coordinate Disney with my phone). More days then not I do not look at my plans other than to check times on FP+. With it just being me I'm not trying to manage much so I only need minimal reminders.

I love Evernote. It syncs across all of your devices and to their web app, so you can type up your notes on a computer and it'll automatically update them on your phone. There are a lot of formatting options, and you can even do tables. You can organize notes into notebooks and/or organize them with tags. It's tremendously useful, I use it for work notes and home notes on all sorts of things.

And it's free. :)

Kennythepirate.com has a great charactetlocator app that will let you plan your daily itinerary, create a map of your day showing the order you choose and show the current wait times for all the rides on your itinerary.

I type it up and put on sturdy note cards. I have a card for each day that will fit into my purse so I can look at it as needed.

My iPhone has a Notes app, and I just use that. Could also print that out if you wanted. Here is a screen shot of my outline of my AK day from last year.
