Disney Planning Video question...

Since I'm in Australia, it seems I can't watch the Disney Planning Video!

The free planning kit can only be sent to US households...

So I thought I could download the planning video from the Disney website - but for some reason, that's only available to the US as well!

Very sad!

Does anybody know of another way to download the planning video? Is it on any other websites, for example?

I'm sure if you had the money, you could have someone in the US order it and ship it to you. I don't know what the charge would be shipping it over the pond. All you would have to do is see if you could pay for it when you picked it up That way you don't have to worry about someone not sending it to you after you paid for it. It would be alot of trouble, but hey it's WDW were talking about.

Don't feel bad the planning video is very cheesy. You're not missing much.

I agree with Biscuitsmom31. I have one from a few years ago that is much better. This last one just annoys me. I think you learn more here and on www.allearsnet.com or the Disney website.

Yes it is free, but I too thought that previous videos were a lot better than the one currently out. It is pretty cheesy.

Hi Chuck! Both, I think! It only talks about a DVD on the Disney website, not a video, and the DVD would be in the wrong region anyway. USA is region 1, and Australia is region 4.

That's why I wanted to download it to watch it online, but the web site says you have to be in the US to do that too! I don't know why...

And I know it might be cheesy and not very good, but I just want to watch it anyway! I want to "see" Disney! Here in Australia, we're not lucky enough to get any Disney travel info shows on tv. All I've seen is photos!

I love these boards, and I love my PassPorter, etc... but I wanna see Disney moving and get a good feel for it!

Never mind... Maybe I'll just have to wait til I get there!

It has a ton of audio and video on it, though it doesn't have the vacation planning video that Disney mails out on it. It does, however, have the resort TV "Top 7" loops (Both the one with Kryssa and the new one with Stacy.), plus a lot of commercials and ride and show video. It's a pretty cool site!

I had a look at quite a few of the videos on the site, but then freaked out when I watched the Spaceship Earth one - it's the whole ride! Augh! I don't want to spoil it all for myself!

And the Top 7 clips, I think, have actually been recorded when someone was aiming their camera at the tv in their room. So it was a bit hard to hear and see what was going on!

The Pop Century one scared me slightly too - all I could hear was someone's heavy breathing as they moved the camera around the room. Eeeek. I felt like I'd downloaded something naughty, and was hoping someone wasn't about to walk out the bathroom naked!

I really just wanted a quick look at the planning video, but it looks like it's not going to happen - never mind! Thanks anyway for your suggestions!
