I remember reading on here about some kind of planner that people use and I can't remember what it is called, can you help? I think you get it at a bookstore  I have hear of the tour guide Mike planner, but it was something else :confused3 This will be our 3rd trip in 3 years so I know my way around planning, but do you think it would be helpful????

I am guessing that you are thinking of the Passporter Guide. It can be found on Amazon or at the bookstores.

I love the Birnbaum's Guide. It's gives the info you need and isn't as judgemental like the unoffcial guides. I even give one to each of my clients in their care pkg they get from me.

Ditto this. We buy the birnbaums book every year we decide to go. It's got great info.

I have about 10 different WDW books (Passporter, UG, Complete Guide, Imagineer Guides, Hidden Mickeys, Lost Journals, Guide to the Magic for Kids..okay nine) and find that the Birnbaum guide is the most useless out of all I've read.

The information is totally "party line" and doesn't really give you any realistic advice.

OP...You are definitely thinking of PassPorter. You can find them in bookstores, at Amazon, or on their website. The 2009 edition is about to get shipped so your best bet is to order it directly from them...discounts are available on their site.

Ahhhh yes! The passporter!!! Thats it! Brilliant! I knew you would know!!!!! So do I need one? :thumbsup2

I like all the guides for different reasons! Birnbaum is great for all the colorful pictures, though they do seem to love everything about Disney, don't they?
Most of the guides are available at public libraries, so you can read them for free!
We are taking our 3rd trip in 4 years, and I got the Passporter a few months ago. Since I planned to write in it, I purchased this one, rather than check it out from the public library. It has been really helpful for budgeting and planning. Some of the charts won't be useful to me - I'm not one to write down ever snack my son eats and plan every waking moment of our trip. But it is great for organizing reservation info., budgets, and ADR's. I also like the restaurant reviews. 3 ratings are given for each TS and CS. I think the the first two ratings are from the husband and wife who publish Passporter, and the 3rd is an average of ratings by readers.
Not everyone will agree, but I'd say buy it. I think there is a discount if you are a member of their discussion boards.
Hope this helps! :wizard:

"DITTO" on the Passporter. My girlfriend and her DH and DS are going to WDW next April. I am getting her this planner for her Birthday thats in December.
