Disney Pins?

Okay soooo.... for Christmas I am going to get Disney pins, and I was wondering what basic things i need to get started. any tips? Thanks!

First off, Welcome to the Disboards!

My daughter got into pin trading many years ago and we have now collected over 300 of them! I try to purchase pins on Ebay before we go so that we have some to trade. We found a fantastic seller on Ebay who sells pins that are in perfect condition at really good prices.

You'll find that there are pin lanyards for sale in the resort gift shops as well at most stores within the theme parks. Disney also makes albums and carrying cases for the serious pin collectors and those are sold in the gift shops and stores.

Welcome to the site. Pin collecting is great fun. My 2 "kids" (18 and 13) both have been collecting pins since our first trip to WDW. I even started collecting them for a while, but I am a fanatic, so I stopped and gave my pins to my kids. I have purchased many, many pins on e-bay, some at fantastic prices, some are going rate. There are always tons of choices there. Just make sure it is an official Disney pin, as there are many unofficial pins out there. Good luck.
