disney pins going with you

hi guys! i bought some pins last week from the disney store and am planning to take them to trade. can these go in our carry on, or will they be confiscated? we plan on taking our park bag and going to the park once we check in. which will more than likely be without our luggage arriving. any ideas?

We took pins to WDW last week on our carry-on luggage...didn't check any bags due to the additional fee. There no problems going through security or x-ray of the bags.

Have fun -- we had a GREAT time trading pins and came home with some really cool ones.

thanks! my only concern is tho, were in canada....rules should all be the same, but my luck they wont be.

We always take trading pins in our carry-on luggage. You won't have any problems.

great! i was so worried...i know the last time we wore our safari hats home from ak, and i took the pins off and stuck them in our luggae, just in case! this time tho i wanted some pins for the kids to trade first so i bought some ahead. then i started thinking about it.

We always bring our pins in our carry on. Just be careful when they go through the xray machine. We had about 25 pins one trip for trading and they xrayed the bag 3 times and then went through it looking for the "big lump" of metal. We now take our pins out and xray them with our keys, change and shoes

Yup!
I usually have my Mickey Head Canadian flag pin on my travel bag and my DD has carries a few on her bag as well.
No problems!

I always pack my pin bags and my lanyard of pins in my carry-on bag and have never had any problems when going through security at the airports. Sometimes they get looked at and sometimes they were not looked at, so it's 50/50 chance of that happening.
