disney pins/airplane security

Hi, not sure if I posted this in the correct forum. Has anyone recently traveled with Disney Trading Pins in their purse or carry on luggage? My sonn is anxious to do pin trading when we get so I wanted to have a few of his trader pins ready when we get there.

I've never had a problem with my pins in the airport but I'm not sure with the new security standards. Try posting in the Transportation Forum, you might get more answers.

Sorry to bounce you around but the collectors board might be a better place to ask this.
Our experience with pins is this-
we put the pins in a bag in our carryon. Be prepared for them to look closely at them. We have ours on 'pages' in a pin bag. TSA went through every page of our pins, including opening zippers to check inside any pockets.
We never put our pins in our checked luggage.
You should not have any problem at all.
We are planning on bringing a small pin bag this week in our carry on bag.

I just got back yesterday and carried my pins in my carry on luggage both to and from Orlando with no problems! Have fun!

Just flew 2 weeks ago with the new security and didn't have a problem with pins. I kept them on the lanyard and in a ziplock bag (in our park backpack) and everything was fine.
