had a look around this on our last day - figured the top floor would be a good place to start and managed to find a room being cleaned and a very nice maid who allowed us in

symbol on door was tinkerbell - looks like this may have been one of the better ones, so does anyone know how it would compare to something standard

also - there if apparetly a lift to the park for some rooms - anyone had the use of this and was it worth the (no doubt) extra

I think you are talking about the Disneyland Hotel! We have stayed there 3 times in a standard room! The hotel is worth every penny! The rooms are much bigger than in the other Disney hotels and you have 2 times room service every day. In the evening they come to make your bed ready for the night and they place a little shokolade on your pillow. And in the morning you are welcomed by Disney characters.

I have never stayed at the Castle Club (the rooms with the special elevator) but that must be even more phantastic! I hope we can afford the CC one day! :cloud9:

We've done Castle Club. The rooms were fine. The lounge was really good and we enjoyed that. You got brekkie there and a superb afternoon tea.

Could not agree more. It`s worth every euro and whe count the days to our next stay in the CC.

My family loved this hotel. We stayed on the third floor in the west wing with a view over the park entrance. We could see BTM, PM and the lights of SM and with the window slightly ajar we could hear the christmas carol music. It was Christmas so the park was beautiful. We ate breakfast every morning over looking the castle. The characters were there every day - no need to book a character breakfast - and my two DDs loved every minute of it.

Every DLP fan should try and stay here at least once - it's the most magical hotel of all!!
