Hi. I'm coming from Canada and when our plane arrives taking the shuttle straight to the resort. I won't have a car to leave the resort.

In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone had a good idea about where to buy a bunch of disney trading pins for cheap? I heard ebay is good,,, but is there another place to get them so I can have them mailed to my house ahead of time?
Thanks.

Ebay is your best bet. Tons of pins, pay through PayPal, and oftentimes free shipping. They'll be shipped to your house.

I've bought all of our pins from EBay and haven't had any trouble. Actually, one seller even sent me extra because one pin's back wouldn't stay on very well. I've bought three different times and never had a complaint. Look for seller's who sell in 'lots' rather than one or two pins at a time. It's a better deal for your money. And buy ones that you don't care about trading, so you (or your kids!) won't hem and haw over which ones to trade when the time comes.
Pin Trading is something my kids really, really enjoyed doing. They were able to break out of their shells a little (they can be shy) and they met some neat people from all over the world. And it's a fantastic, easy to transport souvenier that will last a lifetime.
Have fun!!

I've been reading about this a lot lately because I want to collect and trade pins when I'm at WDW in September. What I've learned, however, is that most of the sellers who sell lots of 25, 50, etc. are selling "scrappers" and counterfeit pins. If each pin will cost less than a buck, they're almost certainly not legit, but if pins end up costing a couple bucks each, they're more likely real. Head over to the Collectors board here or visit DisneyPinForum.com and learn all about it. It's fascinating to me, and I can totally understand and respect why collectors often urge us newbies to avoid those eBay sellers like the plague and not cloud the market with these fake pins. You can buy bulk lots from a reputable site like MousePinsOnline.com and not have to worry about scrappers. That's what I'm going to do before I go.

Hadn't thought about the scrappers/counterfeit, they all look like the real thing...with the imprints on the back and whatnot.

That said, you can many times have them sent to your resort...thats what we did last month. One seller had them if you bought more than one lot it included free priority mail shipping...got them within about two days.

For our last trip, I wanted to start my kids off with a small collection of Disneypins for trading before we got to WDW but didn't want to spend a fortune. I went on e-Bay about a couple of weeks before our trip and found some for a reasonable price. To avoid any extra shipping costs to Canada, we got the package sent directly to the resort we would be staying at with all our pertinent info, arrival date, etc. The package was waiting for us when we arrived to check in. Everything went very smoothly and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again this way.

We are also from Ontario, we always buy our pins from this ebay seller "qinweishop". They are out of china and ship a variety of disney/world/land pins for free to Canada. The pins took about 20 days to arrive but when they did we were not disappointed. It was such a good deal, we only paid 68 cents a pin. There are some pictures of the pins we received in our TR if you are curious to see the selection.
Good Luck :thumbsup2
