Disney Picture of the Day Thread - June 12, 2009

Thanks Bill- That's one of all of two keepers I got on that ride (that's the first time I ever rode it) Here is the other one.

Forgive me for having to ask--are these dinosaur pics from Dinosaur or from Ellen's Energy Adventure? Either way, they are incredible shots taken in an impossible environment!

After lurking for a while and seeing all these gorgeous pictures I am a little embarrassed to post. My picture taking skills downright suck. At least I didn't get the 'finger in EVERY picture' gene that my mother has!
So here's my contribution and hopefully many more!

Even if they have a finger in the picture, they're still Disney shots!! I'm not a great photographer either, I love looking at everyone's though, great or good (No such thing as a "bad" Disney shot!)

Nice Dinosaur shots, Gdad. My Dinosaur shots suffered from severe problems--I got nothing like this. Next time, I'm going with some big time negative exposure comp, as I got some majorly blown highlights and some PotC-esque problems with white balance. I was surprised, as I've never noticed the ride is so 'red'.

It was taken with a Nikkor 14-24mm 2.8f. Thank you all for the kind comments.

I personally love these kinds of shots the most. I get to live vicariously through someone elses vacation! I enjoy the more professional ones too, they are lovely. But for me the random vacay shots make me feel more like I'm there!
