OH Jeez! I never even noticed the design on the ground before because there are always so many people! As wonderful a profession as teaching is, summer trips to WDW are quite the downfall!

No offense, but Steven Barrett has said it himself that there is no *official* list of Hidden Mickeys. No one can or does deny that they're there, but sometimes (yes, even some of the ones in Steve's book) you have to use your imagination to see them. I've seen a lot that are definitely Hidden Mickeys and there is no doubt about it that they were designed intentionally. But I would still argue (at least from the picture) that this particular one is a stretch. Although that stain is undoubtedly intentional, I'm not sold that it is supposed to be in the shape of a Mickey head.

But, for the record, I heard Steve Barrett say so himself that some of the Hidden Mickeys even in his book are debatable. But that's part of what makes it fun.

Well, of course, there's no OFFICIAL word from Disney, but any Travel Channel show will show the execs talking about them themselves. :thumbsup

Maybe I used the wrong word--SB is not OFFICIAL (hence, the use of quotes), but he is our most reputable and knowledgable source at the moment. He is the one everyone turns to when new ones pop up or when lectures/speeches are needed on the subject (i.e., Mousefest, etc.).

From what I understand, the Disney company used to have an offcial list, but they did away with it for whatever reason.

Anyway, nonetheless, this makes we want to check out this HToT HM next time I'm there so I can decide for myself...
