I thought I'd share my fav wedding photos from outside Cinderella's Castle! These were taken at 5:30am the morning after our wedding. I think we were actually falling asleep in some of the photos...haha! I won't post those! Enjoy!

I'm literally crying looking at these pictures. They are GORGEOUS and I'm so jealous. There is no better background to wedding pictures than Cinderella Castle. Why were they taken at 5:30am?? Where was the ceremony?

5:30AM! who am I kidding- I would get up that early to get some pics at the Castle!

So does Disney usually give permission for wedding pics at that time b/c of no crowds- how does that work by appts?

Did you get to wander around a bit afterwards? How cool would that be to wander through an EMPTY park! at an obscure hour?!

I think if I was to get married in Disney (well- It would have to be "renewing my vows" about now) but I think I would want some pics of me in my gown in front of the HM!!!!! that would be great!

Thank you!! If you get married at WDW, you can have a MK photo session, but it's only on certain days at at 5:30am, so it's a hard one to schedule! Of course, it's the only time they can do it because the park is empty, which is amazing! That's why it looks like it's late at night in all of the photos. We got married at Sea Breeze Point at The Boardwalk Inn Resort the day before. It was a long day with only 3 hours of sleep, so when we got back after the MK photos we passed out for the rest of the day.

Disney does it all!! It's their wedding photographers, who take the photos, so they can do what they want. We got to actually drive through the park! We entered through the back and next thing I know, I saw Splash Mountain to my right! I couldn't believe we were in the park! We got a special tour showing us the floats and the hidden areas behind Disney as we came in. Our photographer was awesome and it was just us and him in the park with a few cleaning people. We had to move people cleaning the castle, so they wouldn't be in our shots. We then got to go inside the castle and take some photos as well. I'll post those too and then we got to climb the stairs for a few shots. It was so much fun and so wierd to see Disney and Main Street totally empty and there we no music playing at all! Wierd... It was so much fun and to be in there alone was a once in a lifetime experience!!

Just looking at this picture made me . I HATE that ride. I rode it once and never again. I couldn't let go of the sides to take a picture. My hands were numb from holding on so tight and I was yelling at my Dh ( who was in the vehicle in front of me) to "shut up" turn around and leave me alone. YOur picture is good though!!!

I am trying not to even watch the news/Florida weather until a few days before we go-- I dont want to get myself all worked up worrying their might be a hurricane heading towards Disney before I get there!

Thanks! I usually don't enjoy the spinning rides, either. We were there with a first-timer, though, so we had to hit everything. I was so intent on taking pictures, I didn't notice the dizziness as much.

No, they really don't do that anymore. They may just a few times a year and it has to be done at night after the park closes. There is a set time on how long it will last. Plus, it is the most expensive thing you can possibly do! it would cost a lot of money because the weddings begin at $10,000, which mean they really start at $13,000 or more to have a decent wedding. They use to even have recpetions in the castle, but they no longer do that. There have been many changes to the Disney Weddings. They do a lot less than they use to, but that's because they have created many new wedding locations, but they also got rid of locations. Weddings are now all done outside of the theme parks, which makes sense and is much better. They do offer receptions in certain theme park areas, which are pretty cool...but not at the MK and with the Castle.
