Aww, poor guy... I always feel sorry for animals (especially if they're in the wild) when they have these kinds of disabilites because for animals in the wild it's pretty much all about survival of the fittest...Here's mine for today, from the AK. The guy up front looks a little sad. I had to wonder if his smiling friend was responsible for his missing hand/foot?

You're right though, I guess numbering them like that makes it too much like a competition and that's not a all what I was going for...I never rode it either, but from what I understand - the ride was very costly to maintain and keep running. I guess they were constantly having to repaint the underwater props and/or AA's because of sun fade. It was also slow loading so the lines were usually long waits (similar to what's currently out at DL)...I never went on this, but wish I could have.Just out of curiosity, did the Imagineers really think a Pooh playground was better than a popular E Ticket ride?
I have a feeling they took it down just in time for Epcot's 25th Anniversary. A lot of Epcot fans were not at all pleased with the wand, and I think the wigs at Epcot knew that, and I think they just wanted to make the fans happy...
This was on the back of a bathroom stall door at Conservation Station at AK. Of course, I had to take a picture of it!!
I had taken a couple and was getting frustrated with how much camera shake I was getting. So I set my camera on a post on the bridge and set the shutter speed to 2 seconds. The original size looks so much better than the reduced size. 
I know my safari trip didn't include that view!!
This is totally not photo related, but I was curious. Is there a site to email the Disney people/handlers about the animals? My children have suddenly become interested in what actually happened to the crocodiles foot! When we were at the Planet Watch, my dd got to see an operation on a goat, and has since been facinated by the care the animals in the safari receive. His wound looks a little fresh (if you zoom in on it!
) and we thought perhaps he was a recent amputee (sp?).
