...I'm curious - how DID you get picked???

My DD7 went to trade pins with a cast member on Main Street.While trading he asked my daughter some general questions regarding our vacation,family members etc.He then offered us the chance to be Grand Marshalls for the parade,which we obviously accepted.
My wife and I,after having watched the first parade,assumed the Grand Marshalls were either competition winners or VIPS but it turns out you just have to be in the right place at the right time,luckily for us.
