Oh, I love it! I havent been on it in so long and I always remember the hula girls as one of my fave parts, that brings back so many memories...I've gotta get back on that ride one of these days!

This photo was taken in MGM during our honeymoon trip
(Yes i am fighting hard for my beloved wife!)

This is a little hidden treasure that we discovered as we were running back to Main Street and my DD5 had to stop for a moment to look at it. She also made a wish. It was special.

The directions are on DIS boards. But I'll save you the trouble.
I traced the mickey head pattern with pencil then whip stitched it with dental floss (because it is tough and slides easily.) then pulled it tight until I had a little pucker see photo below, you can make out the little mickey heads

Then we banded them for different patterns ( mostly swirled as you can see in the photos) and soaked in ash solution as directed and dyed them. see below..

Now... we had a big debate as to which color patterns came out better. I think that a light color head surrounded by a darker color came out the best. If the head is not clear you can outline with a bleach pen, I prefer the "fireworks" effect.
They were SO MUCH fun to make. I had to laugh when I saw the premade one in the gift shop for about $25.
Hope this helps!

MABLE & TERENCE:

That's a really cute picture but I have got to tell you, I saw your link for your wedding album- OH MY GOODNESS!!! It was unbelievable! You and your wedding were absolutely STUNNING! Just picture perfect! I can't get over it!
My DH and I got married last May and spent part of our honeymoon in WDW, but after looking at your album, I wish I got married there! Atleast my sister is on deck to get married so I'm going to show her your album and convince her to do the same! I was on the verge of tears looking thru your album, and I don't even know you! But you seem like a very sweet couple. Congrats on the nuptials!
