That is a picture of the hat - the Sorcer's hat at MGM Studios It is located right in front of the Great Movie Ride.

It is the "icon" of MGM - some feel it should not be. You cannot see the GMR as you enter the park, the hat is in the way.

Olivia was VERY nervous about going on this roller coaster. The cast member operating the ride squated down to Olivia's eye level and very convincingly told her that he could push a button called the "slow down button" to slow down the ride... she took the bait and we got on the ride. He went out of the way to show her that he was indeed pushing the button - and off we went... she LOVED the roller coaster. Whenever we talk about going back (May 3-9) she always asks if I'll ride Goofy's Barnstomer with her...

Just one example of how the cast members can make a world of difference. They truly do create the "magic" in many cases...
