Its a plaque within the grounds... what do you see?

I think what you're seeing is how the flowers come up to the hedge on the top of the picture. The hedge curve makes it look like it is a different bed than the flowers. Kind of funny effect - the plaque distorts the flow of the flowers in the bed.

Looks like it had been raining out is all.

It didn't rain that day. Actually, I think it was the nicest day we had while we were there.

My guess would be because it was taken with a disposable camera and then I scanned it.

I didn't get a digi until a year ago or something, and that was still a junk camera. But I bought a Nikon and it takes beautiful pics, so when I go this year, my pics will be nice and purdy unless the day is bad. Or I'm a bad photographer.
