I just got my scrapbook this week that I ordered a couple of weeks ago. It is AWESOME!!!! I made up most of my own pages and uploaded them. It is 58 pages. I love it!!! It is well worth the $135 that I ended up spending on it:) Oh, and the cover is great with tink and the castle. Just thought I'd let everyone know:)

I got one from our trip too - it is great. I didn't know about making up your own layouts and uploading them, etc...but even without that we think ours turned out great and was well worth it. Glad yours turned out so well!

If anyone is on the fence about ordering it, take your time to do all the pages/layouts, and just go ahead and buy it...your family will really enjoy having it in my opinion...

ok this is the only thing I could find on search, I have been to WDW six times before and am going again for free dining in Sept. I discovered the DIS just after our last trip in August 2006. I know nothing about photo pass, and I know I have seen on here how people "share" is this "legal"? I have looked everywhere and can not seem to locate any other posts when I search. I am just now becoming interested in the whole thing because we have recently booked this trip. Before, it was just interesting reading but now that I NEED it I can't find out anything.
First, does this pass mean that your pics are online?:confused3
Do you have to go to special places to have the pics done?:confused3
Third, I do not remember any pics, except on like splashmtn., tower of terror :scared1: but that just does not seem what this is am I correct?:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Please someone direct me in the right direction. TIA

First off.........the photopass pics are those taken by the CM's that are located at various places throughout the parks. You see them walking about with the camera, usually they are in prime photo locations.

They give you a photopass card, swipe it, and then take the picture. You present this card each time you want a photo taken of your family, children, etc.

You take it from park to park for your whole trip. There are photo shops in each park where you can view and have pictures printed out....OR you can go online when you get home to view your photos.

If you choose......you can purchase a CD with all of your photo's on it. You can buy this at the parks or do it online after you get home.

Now, I have seen those posts you talk about where people share the photopass. The problem with this is that you have all of those other people's photos in with yours. WHy would you want to take the time to go through all of that just to print out some pictures. You are not obligated to purchase anything from the photopass, so I suggest just getting the pictures taken, view them once you get home and then decide if you want to purchase the CD.

I pre-ordered the photopass way in advance of our April trip and it was great!

We got three e-mails, which I kept safely, because you need to use them when you come to order the photo CD.

I have this week been editing and adding special boarders to our pictures and have ended up with 146 pictures for our CD. I've also decided to purchase the Photobook, which I've spent time creating since I returned home.

I've mixed up the photo's in it, some of the 'official' ones and also some of my fave's from our own personal pictures. I've only done 21 pages, but I'm pleased with it on screen, can't wait to see it for real :)

Gives me something to look forward to now...it's been boring since our trip was over, nothing to look forward too! :sad2:

Yea, I am with you there, why "share" your photos with strangers anyway??? Ok, I think I remember last trip, receiving a card but I only remember having MAYBE three or four pics total taken by a CM, so did we just not look like we needed any taken or did I just totally over-shoot the places they were at? I remember a couple during meet and greets, and that is it. The way those posts go on about "sharing" I thought that maybe it was some outlandish price over $100 or something and that you are able to get 148 photos is very strange to me seeing that we only had about three or four tops at meet-n-greets. I guess I must have missed the boat as to why people are sharing if it is something you do at home on your own computer, that means everyone else you share with has photos of you at their disposal????:confused3

Thanks for giving me the info though.
