We did the resort photo shoots in 2010 and another in 2011. Both were well worth the money to me.
In 2010 Disney Photopass was still doing these sessions and I paid $99 plus tax for a 20 minute session at the Poly. We got a set of 10x8 prints with it as well but I dont recall how many and we also got all the images on CD with a copyright release. I felt it was plenty time (there were just two of us) and we came back with around 80 images, most of which were really good, some very very nice ones and nothing I would have wished to delete.
Similar experience the following year except by this time it had been taken over from Photopass by Disney Fine Photography and the price was $150 plus tax. No prints but we still got the CD and had around 65 images on with the copyright release. I prefer to print my own photos in any event so no great loss on the print package.
You can do the more pricey packages and have them done in your choice of the parks but as we buy the PP CD every time, I have no interest in fighting crowds for my family photos and actually prefer the resorts where it's a little less 'typical Disney'
