Disney Photography Questions

I have a couple of questions for pepole who used Disney photographers:

(1) If you go for the DVD-only option (swapping out your album/prints for a DVD of all the digital files), how soon after the wedding do you get the DVD? (I'm U.S. based, if that matters.)

(2) Can you ask your photographer to use (or not use) certain Photoshopping techniques? Were the photographers responsive to what you wanted? I was looking at the portfolios online, and a lot of the photos were really heavily Photoshopped to a degree that I didn't care for. But most of the photos I've seen posted here haven't been overly Photoshopped like that.

we went for the DVD only option. We received our DVD about 2 weeks after the wedding. Regina said that her editing would be done within a day or two of our portraits session (she had actually already started editing the ones from the ceremony) but after that it goes into the system to be mailed out and that gets backed up sometimes. I'd imagine if your're getting married during the busy seasons it would take longer.

As for receptiveness of the photographers to requests, Regina was very receptive to any ideas we had. She welcomed them in fact. Our disk had about 20 shots that she had photoshopped or made b&w and the remaining ones were all orginals to edit as we saw fit. We had over 400 shots in total- this includes ceremony, magic kingdom and epcot bridal portraits.

Do you know if the dvd that you get of the photos are already color corrected?

What is the price difference of doing the dvd rather than the albums?
