Disney Photographers

Feeling a little confused ... Has anybody used Disney for their wedding photography?

A lot of Brides here have used DPS. Their quality has greatly improved and more brides, especially Escape ones, seem to be choosing DPS because it's already included in the Escape package.

I can't think of certain brides off the top of my head but if you browse the PJs you can find them.

I think a lot of Wishes brides go with outside photography because the prices are usually much better than DPS. I find DPS expensive, especially when you have to add on packages to a Wishes wedding.

We had an escape wedding and we used both DPS and Randy Chapman.

Regina was our DPS photographer, and she took mostly photojournalistic style photos rather than the more formal pictures. I have tons of pictures in my PJ, both hers and Randy's.

I used DPS for my Wishes wedding. I don't have a PJ/TR, but have posted the info to view them in the Sticky at the top of the page and in other DPS threads. I was happy with my photos and EXTREMELY happy with our Big "Digital Montage" Album that we received in December.

We used DPS, Amy was our photographer and she was/is amazing! Pics are in my PJ.

My daughter used Disney Photography and Video for her wedding and they were excellent!!! Her photographer was Mike Strickland and Joe Duncan, they were great to work with and the pictures came out beautiful!!! Bruno White Entertainment was the one Disney used for the video and they also were great!!!!

We used Disney and we were more than happy with the pictures. And the photographer was lovely and friendly. My picutres are on my PJ

Hey all. I got married on 9/27/2009 and had Randy Chapman. His photos turned out soooo good, and we used Stan as videographer, who gave me an amazing video.

I did an EPCOT photo shoot and I think Joe was our photographer.

It was so worth doing. There are some photos I wish I had gotten, but didn't think of it at the time, so that was my fault. He was very accomidating(sp?) and super friendly and did everything we asked.

The quality of the photos we got back from Joe were beautiful. I wasn't as happy with my fireworks photo shoot in EPCOT later that night, but everyone else in the family LOVED them and thought they were excellent, so it could just be me being picky about me lol .

At any rate, I think you should be fine getting a Disney photog. I loved Joe's photos from the EPCOT shoot ... but I thought Randy was fabulous. He was like having an extra bridesmaid around if something went wrong (we have a pic of him bustling my dress with my mom!!).

Really, it's about what you can afford to do. I think if you chose the Disney photogs you will be in good hands and get great documentation and portraits of the wedding. Joe was so nice and great to work with. If you want a little more I'd go with someone like Randy.

I'm sorry, I can't help much here because I had both photographers and was pleased with just about everything they did. I hope this post helped some and I didn't ramble too much !!!

We did Disney photography and has Amy as well. I could not have been happier! She was professional but at the same time she seemed like a good friend by the end of the night. The pictures came out amazing, even with the poor weather.
