Is it *possible* to purchase only one picture that is taken by a DISNEY PhotoPass Photographer.

We would *like* a group picture taken by a DISNEY Photographer with the Castle in the background.

Because of our Trip/Budget/Priorities ... we only want one picture not a *Memory Maker* splurge.

Yes,
When you log into your mydisneyexperience account, look in the menu for Photography > Disney Photopass. From there you can purchase any picture that was taken by a photopass photographer, so long as they swiped your magicband after your photo!

they are a little pricey at $14.95 for the rights to a single photo.

Yes, and you still scan your Magic Band or get a Photopass card just like you would if you had pre-purchased Memory Maker. You can then choose any or all the pictures after you are done. One trip we chose not to purchase MM because it was a short trip. We did afterwards because there were so many awesome ride photos we wanted it was worth the cost. But we could have bought only one.

You can certainly purchase just one. You can also take your own camera and ask the PP photographer to take a group shot with your camera.

My dh & I just got back from a 'just us' trip so I did not buy the MM. We planned on just asking the PP photographer to take our pic once or twice (castle, Spaceship Earth) but they were so, so nice about it, that we ended up asking several times. And I am buying a couple from PP just cause there are some great ones.

I wanted also to mention that you can choose to purchase only the photos taken on rides. We never get the MM but after our December 2014 trip we were emailed that our ride photos were available online. I had Disney Visa Card reward $ available so I used them to purchase the pictures I liked. They are very expensive but I love our Buzz Light Year ones in particular!
