Disney Photographer & Outside Photographer at the same time?

When having an Escape package...will Disney allow their photographer which is part of the package and an outside photographer (vendor) to do the ceremony and same events at the same time? I have been asked why would I want to have both...just covering all bases so nothing is missed. Paranoia What are your thoughts?

Unfortunately they don't allow you to have both (although a trip report popped up on here a few months ago where the poster said he'd had both - but DFTW policy is one or the other...)

Really, it would probably be a mess anyway, with each photographer getting in the other's way. If you really want more than one photog, go with an outside vendor who will come with an assistant. We're using Nathan & Jensey Root, a husband-and-wife team who both take pictures on your wedding day (www.rootography.com).
