Got kids????????? Not this trip! :cool1: :thumbsup2 March 5th to the 8th.

The idea started in Dec. We had AP we bought back in May 06, and a trip for Jan 07 planned with our family. I found out SW started a new non stop flight from DTW to MCO and the airfare was only $45 each way. Who can pass that up? Wait, we have a 5 year old who is in school now. We are taking her out for 6 days in Jan, and another 6 in May for a DCL trip on the Wonder. We can't really take her out of school 3 times in one year can we? DH's college that he teaches at is on break the 1st week of March every year.

We *could* go just the 2 of us. After all Anna is almost 6 years old and our last trip with no kids was Feb 2001 when I was 32 weeks pregnant with her. We went to Disney every year before having kids, and loved being there together. This got the wheels in my brain moving. Why not? But to go to WDW with out the kids????? That would seem strange. My good friend offered to come and watch them. I booked the tickets (just 3 nights right, not too long) and coming up with the points for a studio for 3 nights wasn't hard. I even got BWV, something I have never been able to do in the past. It was all falling into place.

Now before you start handing out bad parent awards you need to know that Anna my 5 year old has been to WDW 10 times so far, and her little sister Lily (who is 2) has been 4 times so far. They are not hurting for WDW (but they do love it.)

So the trip was on. We started preparing Anna (5 years old) during the Jan trip. Mom and dad are coming back while you stay home and go to school to do the things we can't now. Yes, we will bring you back things! Yes we are all going in May.

Then 2 weeks before my youngest (2 years old) got a bad cough. So bad we took her to the doctor, who sent her to the hospital for a chest X ray. It was clear and they said it was virus. Then just when she was getting better, her big sister got a fever, that lasted 5 days. By this time DH and I were sick. Virus again. We had 2 weeks to recover, and I thought things were getting better.

The Sunday before we left I started feeling pretty bad, I thought I would go to the same clinic we took DD last week for the after hours. But, by time I made up my mind, I looked on line and found the adult clinic closes at 6:00, not 10:30 as I thought and it was too late.

The trip was on, even with a cold. It would just have to wait until we get back, just 3 nights right?

DH and were constantly amazed this trip how easy traveling with 2 adults alone is. All we have to do is think of, plan for and pack for ourselves. What a strange concept.

We dropped the girls off at my BIL and SIL house the night before since we fly out really early (7:30 am). Change of plans as to who is watching them, but this ended up working very well. DH and I even got some sleep the night before. Not having them at home actually worked for me, since I didn't have to go in and kiss them goodbye in the morning and then leave. Something I was dreading doing.

I gave up sleeping around 3:30 and got ready, we left at 4:30 and even got the car parked and grabbed a shuttle to terminal. Good timing so far. We were in loading group A and got a good seat. Shortly after everyone was on the plan the captain announced that the front windshield had cracked (just now) and we all had to exit the plane. At least it happened before leaving the gate. :headache:

So off we all go. About this time I realize the kids are waking up with out us. A bit of panic on my side. At least I can use my cell phone now, so I give them a call and they are fine. I feel a bit better. In SW defense they did find us another plane and 1 hour after scheduled time we were taking off. On our way! Wow, what a different flight than our past 11 (with at least one child.) It was even a little relaxing. I did find out the ocean nasal spray I packed for my cold doesn't travel well. Thank goodness for zip lock bags. My clogged head did have some ear issues, in fact I had a pretty hard time hearing anything. My guess is my ears would finally be all popped by a day before we flew home again (and I was right!)

11:00 at MCO and we headed over to DME. Luck is on our side again, no lines. Then, onto a bus in a few mins. One short stop at CB and we were at BWV. We seem to be finding the couples with out kids sure seem to have better luck than ones with. Maybe it is all about your attitude. Still I kept finding the need to tell people we had kids, but not with us. It just didn't feel right. Not bad, just like we were missing something very important and we didn't know what to do with ourselves yet. Our hands were so free, I guess we would just have to hold hands. At check in there was only one studio for us, no other options. We found that a bit strange, (most of the time they let us pick from a few options.) It wasn't ready so we checked our one carry on bag and headed out to Epcot. Since the weather was on the chilly side for Florida, we kept our long pants and light coats. We were very comfortable in that.

After looking at the line for Fish and Chips in England we decided to walk over to Morocco for a combo platter at Tangerine cafe. We decided to share, and eat again later if we were hungry. As we used up our carry on Kleenex supply we noticed some girls going over the table next to us, standing on it and grabbing something. We realized it was a tangerine tree, and they were grabbing fruit. Still it didn't look like very juicy fruit. After about 3 times of doing this, a man in a suit approached them, and they stopped. Still the suit guy didn't have a name tag on. We wandered WS (hand in hand, no stroller to push) over to test track, got some fast passes. The park seemed very empty, but the line for Maelstrom was 40 min? What is up with that? The wait at Mission Space was only 10 min for the "less Intense" green side so we took that. They even changed the pre show to include that and had people in front explaining. They also gave us a pass, so you couldn't jump sides. Still a good show and DH likes it better since he doesn't feel sick after. It never makes me feel sick, but I didn't mind. We called and our room was ready, but our fast pass time for TT wasn't. We even had time to kill so we even rode Ellen's energy. Something we haven't done in years because you don't want to get trapped for 45 min with a cranky kid. After riding it we decided we made a good decision to skip it in the past with the kids. After test track we did some shopping and headed back to check out our room. Wow, to be able to shop and not keep track of kids, tell them to get back in the stroller and put that down. Past trips I haven't done much shopping, this trip I am!

Our luggage was there, and while it was a bit of walk, it wasn't a bad location. 1st floor right in front of the villas quiet pool and community hall. There were bikes out there, we have to look into renting them sometime. I miss riding bikes this winter. The room was nice, it had a new pull out sofa that was more comfy then the ones in the old studios. (We had to try it out of course.) I opend the door to air out the room (it was a bit cleaning product smelly) and some ducks wondered over, and tried to get into the room. When we closed the doors they continued to peek at them. We taped it for the kids later.

The room seemed more roomy then the newer studio layouts, the connecting door in the back. DH doesn't like it, feels it wastes space some. The big surprise was the tiny 19 inch TV and no DVD player. Our studio just a few weeks ago in BCV has a 25 or 27 inch TV and a DVD player. Once again we were amazed at how quickly we could unpack and how little room we took up (then again it was 3 nights instead of 7 so that helped too.) After a rest we changed for an early dinner at Spoodles. This I think was our best meal of the trip. We both got steak kabobs, but we could of split one easily. (dinning plan.) The hummus and cheese flat bread was yummy too. We were in a quiet table and had a good server. Dessert was really good.

After dinner we realized it was EMH for MGM and lets head over there. Since it was on the chilly side for Florida we changed into warmer clothes and walked over to MGM. It didn't take long. We didn't have much time so we headed over to get a seat for the 2nd showing of Fantasmic. It was good, we stood in a rather long time for Tower of Terror and rode it after. By the time we were on the ride it was around 9:30 at night and as the adrenaline kicked in I realized that I was way too sick to be pushing myself this hard, and had been up since 3:30 this morning. It was time to go home. This time we took the boat, but got off at S&D and walked from there (closer and a sooner exit then Boardwalk.) We both slept well considering the state of our heads and cough. The bed and sheets were soft and the resort quiet.

More to come soon. Only being a 4 day trip it shouldn't take as long to write. Thanks for reading. :thumbsup2

Enjoying your report! My husband and I went once without the kids, and it was strange to go back and do things with only the two of us. We enjoyed ourselves, but really missed the kids.

I look forward to reading the rest!

Great start! Can't wait for more!

It must have been wonderful to walk around just holding your husband's hand! :goodvibes

The duck thing is funny...hope they didn't keep you off your patio the whole trip, though! :rotfl2:

LOL, the ducks were there every morning and other times during the day. They would tap on the window looking for food. We never feed them, but it was pretty clear they had good luck with this in the past. There was bunnies all over too. The kids would of loved it. I think we will have to go back to BVW with the kids, the pool looked like fun and they had a nice playground and kiddy pool. The Community Hall looked like fun too and they had lots of kids activities like at OKW and Vero Beach. We still feel BCV is our 1st choices (love the pool and theming) but BWV is very nice too, and the same great location.

Can't wait to read more!

What luck with the plane! Can you believe that happened? That's probably the funniest reason for a flight delay I have ever heard... the windshield cracking - right now! Too funny! :rotfl:

And the DUCKS! Too cute. I must admit that I would have been feeding them like there was no tomorrow. I'm a notorious WDW duck feeder, and the "glass tapping" would have just been too much for me.

Glad to hear everything went well!

Ok, next instalment, sorry I got side tracked with life at home.

Tuesday March 6th. 1st full day :cool1:

Today we are heading to MK for the Keys to the Kingdom tour. :earsgirl: :earsboy: Something we have never done before, and didn't see ourselves doing since you can't bring kids on it. The weather was lovely (still on the chilly side in the shade, but very nice.) We got lucky with the bus and got there right at 9:00 (something we never were able to do with the kids, and our bus luck wasn't as good then for some reason.) We had enough time to head over to SM to grab fast passes before our tour started at 9:30. We were offered a free bottle of water at the start of the tour. Good thing. It was clear we were both sick at this point and it wasn't going to get better with out antibiotics. Still we took meds and trudged on. Our guide Rae was so entertaining and amusing to watch. She made us feel very comfortable. We had no clue what to expect and every turn of the tour was a surprise. While there was lot we "knew" already, it was fun to hear it again and we both learned a number of new things. We didn't know that you also get to ride a few attractions on the tour, that was a great bonus.:thumbsup2 One thing I learned (that sharing won't be a spoiler for anyone else) is all the garbage at MK is hand sorted, recycled and composted and what isn't is sent 35 miles an hour into a shoot near Splash mountain. The smell wasn't lovely. I feel better about that. I hate throwing out plastic things and the recycle bins will only do bottle type things, not plates, containers and such.

After we had done a few things we wanted to hit at MK that we never get to do with kids. We were able to get in a preview for Monster laugh floor, :sulley: and I have to agree, it was ok, but not that funny. It still needs some tweaking. I think the big difference between Turtle talk is Crush is fun to watch and see just on is own, Mike not so much. The voice isn't that good of a fit and I just didn't buy it. Also it depends on audience members for funny, something you can't count on.

We also saw Stitches great escape, :stitch2: something I haven't been able to (or didn't want to work hard enough to go see it alone.) Once again, ok but not great, just as I had heard. Off to SM with fast passes. We considered Pirates, but the wait was for 50 min and it was getting very busy. We even wandered into toon town to look for a souvenir for Anna at the Judges tent. Last trip we had a stuffed baby princess doll of Ariel and Bell. The Ariel one didn't make it home with us, and when we told Anna we were going back the one thing she asked for was a Jasmine doll like these. We looked all over and even asked. A helpful castmember called and found out they were back ordered none of the stores had them. Awe, if I had realized that I would of called lost and found more to find the Ariel doll we lost. Oh well. It was busy and time go get out of MK.

As it was we were running late. We had ADR's at Japan tonight, not sure if it was 6:00 or 6:30. It was a bit hard to read my own notes. Oops. We called and were put on hold for 10 minutes. At this point it was 5:55 so was really hoping it was for 6:30. I had DH talk since my voice was pretty much gone at this point and my ears were still clogged. Turns out it was for 6:00 and we had another ADR for 6:00 at Chiefs De France too (that was suppose to be tomorrow night for 6:00). They got it straightened out and the CM said they would honor the 6:00 Japan ressie too, as long as were weren't too late. Good thing it doesn't take long for 2 adults to walk from BWV to WS and we were able to make it over there in just 10 min. Our dinner was good, it was an interesting "show", something we were happy to do, but don't feel the need to do it again any time soon (especially with little kids.) Dessert wasn't so great, but really we didn't need any more. We don't normally do dessert after every meal. The DDP was sure getting us more food for the $$. Every night out sit down meal alone was over $100. Still with out the plan I know we wouldn't of each gotten an appetizer and dessert (and could of shared a few meals too.) For CS we did share a few meals, and then ate another one later.

We wondered WS, going into the American adventure show. During the show I remember that we forget to call the kids. Man that show is long. This is the 1st time I remember seeing the end of it. Normally we end up in there on a hot afternoon and all the AC and darkness and it puts me out like a light. I called BIL and SIL right when we got out and the 1st thing my DD has to tell me is "We had Tuna for lunch". The girls are sounding a bit sad, but doing aright (and tired bed time is normally 8:00, this was 8:30 and they weren't in the bath yet.) We bought a few things and wondered down to Canada and then back to the bridge to watch Illuminations. We didn't have the best view ever, so we left after the fireworks part. The fireworks started going off again as we were walking on the boardwalk back. My phone rang. It was DD and she just wanted to say goodnight before she went to sleep. SIL said she both went right to sleep after saying goodnight. I guess it was a good thing we left early, or we never would of been able to hear them. We considered going to Atlantic dance, but were tried and wondered out by the pool before heading back to the room. We had a quick dip in the hot tub before a nice no kids night in the room. :rolleyes1

Ahhhh, the hot tub. I kind of remember what that was like! :lmao:

Great TR! Thanks for another segment!

Yes, sounds like a great trip!!! Makes me a bit nostalgic for our prekid Disney days!

Wednesday March 7th. :cool1:

Today we were going to hit AK and MGM in the morning. We wore our matching hand made Tie Die Mickey head T Shirts. Twice at AK we had cast members tell us we needed to separate the colors from the whites while doing laundry. Once again good bus luck and we were off to AK soon after it opened. We got fast pass for EE and stood in line for it. The wait said 20 min, but we were in and out in less then 15 min. I think if you do only FP you miss some of the queue ride experience. That is some queue. The ride is great too. DH had the camcorder on for the ride. After that we head over to ride Primeval whirl. Our car wasn't whirling much at 1st, but did spin the end of the ride. We went into the gift shop outside of there, I was hoping to find those dolls for the girls. Guess what DH found at the top of a display. Jasmine doll! They said it would back to the resort by noon the next day, so we sent it along. We also did Dinosaur and by this time we were almost able to use our FP for EE so we headed back that way. Really this was all that was on our list for AK so we headed out to the bus stop. In and out of AK with all we wanted to do in 2 1/2 hours.

We did have a bit of wait for a bus to MGM, but I used the time to call SIL and see how the kids were doing. I think we were missing them more then they were us. Part of the excitement and joy of being at WDW is sharing it with the kids. Still being together and having such a relaxing care free easy trip was making it worth it.

The bus from AK to MGM wasn't too full, but the bus driver wanted to wait for more kids to get on the bus. Why you ask? Because as he explained it he is one of the few bus drivers that likes to sing "the wheels on the bus." So the 5 couples and 3 older kids on the bus all sang the song. The bus driver was really funny, turning on the wipers and lights at the approprate times. I was grateful he didn't slam on the breaks when we got to that part. The girls would of loved it.

The 1st store we walked into at MGM, DH once gain found the Aurora doll. Now we had one for each girl. :cool1: They said it won't get to the resort the next day until 3:00, and since we were leaving at 4:00 that might be pushing it, I just put it in my handy dandy bagalini bag. DH headed over to get fast passes for RnR while I bought it and then we headed over to the commissary for a fast lunch. It wasn't busy in there at all and the food was fine. We road Star Tours after and even saw Muppets 4D. Once when Anna was a little kid we took her to that. I think it scared her (the loud noises) because she refuses to go back. We think Lily would love it because she loves Muppets (Anna doesn't any more, they scare her.) I was looking at the pre-show monitors and wondering when they would replace the really big T.V.'s with flat screen panels, when I realized they had. They just put them in the same space so it looks they are big, unless you look at them from the side.

After RR we were pretty tried and it was sunny and warm so we headed back to the resort for some pool time and relaxing. DH went back in the room to open up the outside door so I could enter that way. I went into the Community Hall to ask about renting bikes. The weather was just perfect. High 70's, maybe 80. Sunny, light breeze. I had a nice talk with the cast members in there. Very friendly just like the ones at OKW. Something about the DVC CMs being the best. :thumbsup2 They said the bikes were 6.25 an hour with the DVC discount. I told them I was going to get DH and be back. We picked out or bikes and filled out the forms. They were joking and said DH had to put his age now, but I didn't. I commented that I still had 2 more weeks of being 35 so I still could put that. (I think I am going to stay 35 for a while. I didn't mind turning 30, or even 35 but I think I want to stop there. Over 35 seems too old.)

If we could ride bikes all over WDW, we could get everywhere in a snap. That long walk to MGM, was nothing on a bike. We headed back and cycled the boardwalk, over to Y&B and back again, twice. After that it had only been less then a half an hour, but we remember we wanted to swim and go to the members meeting in Atlantic Dance Hall at 4:00 so we turned in the bikes early. The cast member showed me our reciept with "Happy Birthday, no charge" written on it and a picture of a cake. :bday: :cake: How nice. I guess we did get our little magical moment, but it wasn't from the dream team.
:beach:
After baking in the sun and making some vitamin D of our own, and a quick dip in the pool we changed very fast and headed over to Atlantic Dance for the DVC members meeting. It was a cute set up were you fill out an entry form (with your info of course.) and there was free lemonade, popcorn and chips. They drew names for a "gameshow" where the contestants answered DVC questions and everyone got a prize. Some of them were pretty nice. I wish we had won one, we knew all the answers. DH and I were feeling a little young. Most everyone there was gray haired. I guess we are young for DVC members, but then again it might be most young DVC members didn't have time for this sort of thing while at WDW. We did get a free hat and I asked after and got a snow scraper they were giving out. We were going home to MI the next day after all.

This time we had an hour to rest and relax before our ADR's for Chef's De France. I love the walk over to WS from BWV. Also love the not having to count on a bus when factoring in time. I even got to wear my new skirt and sweater set, perfect for France. One great thing is the lines at the back entrance to WS were always non existent.

Once again, a new restaurant for us. It was nice, but cramped. Another one of those sitting so close to other people you feel like you should be dinning with them. The food was good, it was busy and crowded so not that romantic, but hey I didn't have a toddler on my lap or have to take a 5 year old to the bathroom 3 times a meal so I was happy. Good food, I ate steak 3 days in a row and the desserts were wonderful.

This time after dinner we headed over to FW to check out things there. We were disappointed that the sea gulls at The Seas wasn't working. I wanted to get more video of that. Lily just loved them last time. Mine? Mine? MINE???? Hopefully they will be in May. Nemo was great, and the new theature for Turtle talk is very nice too. I like how they keep much of the old displays there. It was much nicer then standing in a queue in the middle of the building. The rays were not on display, but it looks like they will be later.

This show is just so much better than laugh factory. Dh thinks it is because they aren't trying as hard to be funny. The line for Soarin' was long, we would have to wait for tomorrow to ride it. We did get on Spaceship Earth. Some shopping in mouse gears. We found some great T shirts in the 40% off display, a WDW ruler, for DD's teacher and some other gifts for friends. Illuminations started while in the store, but hey we saw it last night. We saw some of it while walking back to WS and once again enjoyed the walk against the flow. I was determined to get some dancing in at Atlantic Dance tonight. I haven't been dancing in years (at least 7) and this was the night for it. DH didn't have his ID with him, but they didn't seem to think we looked under 21 and we headed in. This time it was around 9:30 and the place was empty. I mean bare. We were the only couple in there. We decided to dance anyway. We went out on the floor and danced for around 60 seconds before we both realized we are too sick for this, and maybe too old too. All I wanted to do was go back to the room and rest. We did sit on a bench outside the pool and enjoyed the weather for a few min, but we have been pushing it for 3 nights now. It was time to rest.

We might be going home tomorrow, but not before a full day at Epcot. :rolleyes1

Thursday March 8th. Weather report calls for a sunny day, high 80.I don't think I can ask for more than that.

Wow, once again it took less then 30 min to pack everything up with out the kids. After calling bell services to hold our bags, we were off to Epcot. After getting fast pases to Soarin', we went on Living with the Land, then had CS meal creadits to use today. We got a breakfest meal to spilt (and a chocolate croissant, and he didn't even charge me a snack credit, of course we had 4 of those left.) Over to see Honey I shrunk the Audince. We haven't seen that in while either. Anna has vetoed it. The old "True colors" preshow is gone. I miss that. The new one is better qauilty pictures, but not nearly as nice. Call me a purist.

After some drinks at club cool we headed over to Mexico for some lunch. Anna doesn't like mexican, and Lily is allergic to milk so we never get it. Shared a combo meal again, and it turns out I really do like the costco churro's much better. The ones at Ecpot are really dry and icky. I had one at costco today, it was much better (and only a $1).

We strolled back to the land to ride Sorin. We found it strange that for fast pass they are routing you in from the exit. Once back there we had to wait a while. I like kids, I didn't mind having our kid free vacation at a place that has kids everywhere. However the family that was in line in front of us was getting to me. I think it was because the parents didn't want to be with kids and were mostly ignoring them. They didn't know what to expect on this ride, and the parents refused to tell them anything about it, calming their nerves. They said it was because they hadn't ridden it yet, but really they are plugging this ride enough to know if feels like you are flying. I am not sure if they wanted to surpise the kids, or were just lazy and needed a break. I think the reason we had to wait so long was to get enough people to fill up an entire ride. Once in we skipped the pre show all toghether. We were lined up just outside the exit doors to the attraction "room". As DH said the pre show gives you safety instuctions so we found it strange to miss it. We heard (after we got home) that they were redoing the floor in the queue area, hence the reroute.

Next we headed back to WS via Mexico and circled it, wandering and checking things out. There wasn't a long line for Maelstrom in Norway so we rode that. After we sat for a while on a bench past the trading post and rested. It was here we spoted a cast memeber walking by. He was dressed in blue business causual and we asked him to take a picture for us. He stayed and chatted with us for a while. This was one of the more interesting parts of the trip. After talking to him for about 5 min we asked what his job was and he informed us that he used to captatin the friendship boats, but was currently on the Dream Squad. He said working WS wasn't as much fun as FW or the other parks because there wasn't as much extra special things you could do for people (like take them on rides with VIP passes when the lines were long.) He said the aranged prizes for the day had been given out and he was just visiting with guests. He told us some about what it was like to be on the dream squad and some of the prizes they had given out. He gave out the second night in the castle himself, he said it was great. He said a guest won a trip to Italy in WS recently, but they were unsure if the man was able to accept it. He was not an american citizen (and that was fine with WDW.) but he was in the process of applying for citizenship and wasn't able to leave the country. He also said one family had spilt up and the father and daughter had won the night in the castle, but they couldn't get a hold of the mother and other kids for 2 hours on the cell phone. So the father and daughter had to accept it and the others couldn't. Once awarded the prize for the night in the castle you must sign all the papers with in 2 hours. It is only good for that night. I told him that DD had talked about it and I said I didn't want to win something like that this trip, because I would never forgive myself for leaving the kids behind and having them miss that once in a life time opprotuntiy. Since we were going home in 2 hours, it looked like this wasn't going to be an issue. I wonder what they do if a family wins it on the day they are schduled to fly home? I know he said that one of the 1st families to win it was a local family, but they made arangments and stayed.

We had 4 snacks left, and I wanted to use one in France. Well as it turns out the only thing in France you can use snack credits for is a reg soft drink. I don't know why I expected them to be more accomadating. I also noticed a lot of carts that used to accept room cards only accepts cash now. I think that is to not allow DDP credits. I ended up paying cash for a pastry. We ate it and headed over to the market place at beach club. They have sandwiches to go with cs meal credits and we were going to use our last one on that, and take it to airport. We also got a geleto on a snack credit and shared it on the walk back. The weather was just lovely and we enjoyed being outside in it. Once back at boardwalk I picked up the present we had sent back to the resort and a few more gifts for people back home. I used my last snack credits to pick up sugar cookies shapped like the princess at the candy shop next to Spoodles.

We had just missed a DME bus, but it was early and ours was set for 4:20. We waited a while for it, a few min after 4:20 it pulled up. We were the only family getting on at this resort. The bus had a number of people already on it. Off to CB and then the airport. Once we pulled up at CB we were aware there was a problem. There was about 50 people waiting outside. One was a LaCross team in uniform (with gear.) Well there was only room for about 30 on the bus (one was some other kind of team too, the coach was sitting by us. We had to wait at CB for about 15 min to straighten this all out. They were sending another bus for the team that was left behind. Really DME should have taken care of this ahead of time. It was clear before we even pulled up they had a room issue. Even if the bus was empty I don't think all of them would have fit on it.

We were a little concered about getting to the airport on time. There was a couple in front of us that was on our flight so we talked with them. Once checking in I was suprised to find us on boarding group C for the airline. On the way there they didn't even use group C only A and B. What the heck??? We were not that late. At the gate we saw the couple on the bus with us, and they were in group A. How was that? I was dying to know and asked. Aparently you can check in 24 hours in advance, and they did last night at 7:10 at the conceriege desk. Oh, well we know that for next time. Of course if we do fly SW again, they allow pre boarding for kids 4 and under, so we will be in that catagory for a while still.

We left a little late, but SW seems to over estimate how long their flights take so they aren't late. Things went smoothly coming home and we at home by 11:30. My niece spent the night so the girls could sleep at home and we would be there when they woke up. I was putting the luggage away when I heard DH in the girls room. He couldn't wait a second longer. They both were so asleep they didn't even wake up when we kissed them.

Well it sounds like you just had a wonderful trip! It's too bad that you had to be sick the whole time.

Now all you have to do is wait for your next trip... how many days now? :goodvibes

I think I saw your DH and Anna at Target yesterday. I wasn't working, just shopping (:headache: ), and I didn't see you or Lily anywhere, so I wasn't sure if it was really you guys or not!

Yes, that would be him and Anna. He was supposed to be shopping for my birthday next week. Not sure what he got, but it was target so it must be good right? :rolleyes1 Was he grumpy? I hear he was a bit frustrated. :headache:

I think we have 7 weeks or something like that left until we go. I need to get a real copy of my Birth Certificate, so I should do that this week just in case. I think I will tomorrow.

 Oops! Now I feel bad for saying anything! Nope, he actually looked a little lost, LOL... he looked like he was looking for you, and I figured he was! :rotfl: But you know men and birthday shopping! :confused3 But no, he didn't look the least bit grumpy!

The old "True colors" preshow is gone. I miss that. The new one is better qauilty pictures, but not nearly as nice. Call me a purist.
Do you mean the one with the wedding and the frog? and with the boy and the lost dog? :sad1:
What is the new one like???

That is the new one for me. See that is how long it has been since I have seen that show. I was talking about the old one that was set to the "true colors" song that Cindy Lauper and Phil Collins both recorded, but it was song by someone else. It had pictures, then you would see more of the pictures and see that you didn't have the "whole story." It was cute. The one with the frog and wedding is much better quality, but something about the old one. I just loved it.

Megs, he said he got grumpy later, when he got to mejiers. He was looking for some med for his 98 year old grandma and was having a hard time finding it.

Ahhhh! I don't think I ever saw the old one.

I enjoyed your TR! Sounds like you and your DH had a great time together. Thanks for sharing it with us.
