We only name our pets after Disney names.

We have had (all passed away):

Belle (yellow lab)
Jasmine (yellow lab)
Stitch (cat)
Melody and Minnie (guinea pigs)
Mickey (fish)
Crush (turtle)

Now we have:

Daisy (mutt)
Lucky (yellow lab)
Winnie (guinea pig)
Nemo & Flo (fish)
Buzz, Woody, Lilo (cats)
Flash (turtle)

We have two pugs - named Mickey & Pluto. We never thought about the fact that once we had kids, it would make them confused as to which "Mickey" we were referring to. So when we are watching a cartoon or see his Mickey stuffed animal, we refer to him as Mickey Mouse and the dog is just Mickey. Once I asked him to give Mickey a hug and he looked back & forth between his stuffed animal and the dog with a very confused expression.

We have a cat named Olivia, after Olivia's cafe at Old Key West. It is disney to us, but others might not make the conection. We debated between Lilly and Olivia, but Olivia just seemed right.

My in-laws had a dog named Mickey and a cat named Minnie, and my sis-in -law had a dog named Figment.

1 ferret named TINKERBELL

I just got a Boston Terrier a week ago, and named him Otis, after the Adventurer's Club character. Our other name options were Sterling and Pamelia (if we got a girl puppy).

We had a dog named Minnie, but she passed away.

We call her, "Oh, TOOOODLES" and she comes running...

We also have a collie, Indiana Bones...

We have three cats and two dogs. Two of our cats we got before we had kids and became addicted to Disney - they are Houdini and Autumn. The remaining three animals we got after we had our kids. We have a jet black long haired cat names Jasmine, a pomeranian named Jessie (my ds is a Toy Story fan and he wanted to name her Buzz. We compomised since Buzz is a boy name and she became Jessie), and a lhasa apso named Bolt (my kids hadn't even seen the movie yet, but since our Bolt was white like the character Bolt, the name stuck.)

We have a black and white cat that we got as a kitten last year. I wanted to name him jack from POC and NBC but DD wanted Peakaboo... So we call him Boo (from Monsters Inc.)

My mom has a Lady and a Towser (dog on the hill w/the goose in 101 Dalmatians).

For DH and I, sci-fi won out over Disney and our husky/akita mix is named Zoe, after Firefly.

Introducing JackJack the dog

DH said I could name him something Disneyish, so he was going to be Jack, like Jack Sparrow. Unfortunately, he only answers to JackJack.

Mine aren't very original but we have cats Mickey and Daisy. I wanted to call the boy Walt, but my kids wanted Mickey. We also had chickens named after the Disney Princesses.

I have a red Dachshund that I named Copper after The Fox and the Hound
I had a turtle named Remy (off of Ratatouille)
My other animals are named after other things but my cat is named Gizmo (momo for short)
My Newest member my 6 month old GSD puppy named Harley (after Harley Davidson)
Copper's sister (a black and tan dachshund) named Reeses

My sister has a Yorkie named Jedi

Now when I was younger I had a dalmatian mix named Penny, Another mix named Princess and she had puppies one was named Chance and the other was Beethoven (cause he looked like him). Also had a cat that we rescued that we named Milo, Lets see...hmm I used to breed and raise sugar gliders so I had a Rowg (from X-men) and an Indy (from Indiana Jones)...tons more names but most are from various shows & Movies or just general things When someone is looking for a name for something they usually come to me to try to help them out since I have had my share of names as I am known as the animal lover

We have a lab named "Boomer," after the not-too-bright bird in the movie, "Fox and the Hound." Turns out, the name was rather fitting.
