Disney passed on our BCV offer, yahoo!

At $81.00 for 150 pts it was a bit pricier than other DVC hotels but we already have 3 contracts but not BCV. We wanted to get within the 11 month window for BCV and we keep running out of points!

Timeshare Store said that Disney was buying back a lot of BCV below $84.00 so we were a bit worried.

I'm curious about this statement. According to the info on the "Anyone made it through ROFR" thread, Disney has seldom exercised its ROFR in 2011. Now, obviously, only a small fraction of the resales are being reported here, but surely someone on the disboards has gotten a little aggressive on a low ball offer?

I assume that the Timeshare store does not share its actual ROFR experiences on the Disboards' ROFR thread?

TSS does not, but WDRL's excellent thread documents *every* ROFR for any Orange County properties. It's in the (small) single digits in terms of number of contracts per month.

I don't know what "a lot" means to TSS, but small single digits doesn't mean "a lot" to me. Of course, TSS also gets paid commission on a percentage basis, so it is in their interests to sell any particular contract for more, not less.
