As announced earlier this year, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts will partner with Verizon Wireless to offer an Cell Phone App for Verizon Users.
Disney Parks-Verizon Mobile Magic will use GPS to provide Attraction Wait Times, Theme Park Maps, and Character Meet-and-Greet locations.
Verizon users can purchase the app for $9.99 per six months of service. More information on how to purchase the app will be forecoming when the app is launched in November.
In addition, both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will be launching mobile internet websites to allow all Guests to access park information such as Park Hours, Entertainment Schedules and Dining Information on their internet-enabled mobile phone.
