What I saw in the rules was as below:
"All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the winner’s responsibility, including but not limited to: round trip transportation between the winner’s residence and any airport of origin, alcoholic beverages, fax, food, gratuities."

I read that as no dining packages, except the ones that specifically say that there is a character meal or otherwise mentioned. That's my understanding.

You picked the romance package, right? So you get a signature dining meal for 4. Do you pick where or do they pick or will they just send you a gift card for that?

When I won OMDD, meals were not included but we got $1500 in gift cards and we used those for meals, shopping and incidentals. We charged everything to our room and then used our gift card to cover the charges when we checked out.

Don't freak too much. We had $1,500 in gift cards as part of the prize and I was able to schedule and price out all our meals, snacks, drinks, refillable mug costs and it fell under a $1,000, including tips on TS meals. That left the $500 for shopping! I was able to save and take extra money as backup. We only stayed the 4night/5day time frame. We had just been there the previous summer at the same time so that was a bit easier on the pocket as far as meals and shopping.

That all depends on how many people enter. There is a definite winner each day. It is much better odds than powerball but still quite a long shot!

I saw in the official rules answers to some questions posted here:

Administrator will conduct a Daily Drawing on or about three (3) business days after the applicable Day in order to select the potential winner of each Daily Sweepstakes........
On or about one (1) business day after each Daily Drawing, each potential winner will be notified via email or phone, as appropriate, to obtain a mailing address as well as any additional required information or responses. Once mailing addresses are available, each potential winner will be sent paperwork by overnight delivery service. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: [1] potential winner’s failure to respond to notification within two (2) business days after transmission; [2] the return of an email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts; [3] the return of any other notification as undeliverable: [4] potential winner’s failure to provide Administrator with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency; [5] potential winner’s failure to provide Administrator with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the Address associated with the winning Entry; [6] potential winner’s failure to provide required additional information upon Administrator’s request; [7] potential winner’s failure to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release within five (5) business days after its mailing


so it looks like the winners receive a call or email approximately 3-4 days after the entry day for which they won.

OMDD winners were told that they could not add dining packages to their trips because it was a promotional trip and not a paid trip. I would think that the same would be true with this new contest. Winner also can't upgrade rooms due to promotional and not paid.
