Does Disney Parking still offer In and Out privileges? I think there will be reduced hours when we're there, so we'll probably just power through, but if we want to take a break during the day... (our hotel is not quite walking distance with little feet - the Stanford Inn & Suites)

Your parking ticket has the date printed in large print, and you just need to show it to re-enter.

But note, on a busy day, you might get sent to a different parking area If the original lot is full. The parking ticket is valid at all Disney run lots, even though it has a specific lot name on it.

We'd mostly likely be using the Toy Story Lot, and would maybe even walk from our hotel to that one rather than drive, but we'll have to see how the walk feels. I guess we could still ride the bus there then walk to our hotel and cut out a lot of walking.

I would just opt to get an ART pass, and use it to catch the shuttle that services your Hotel and front entrance. Heck the Toy Story Buses is actually ART route 20 (though Disney pays for the ticket)

Beats the hassle of parking (Waiting in line to pay the toll, actually parking, and then the walk to the shuttles and its waiting time) and then the actual shuttle time and short walk.

With the Hotel parking, you have the short walk to the pick up zone, then the shuttle picks you up and drops you off.

And an ART pass gives you one or more days or unlimited rides on its system, and even the OCTA public buses.

Yes, but I have heard very mixed things about ART lately, especially at the Stanford...

And there have been mixed reviews about the Toy Story Shuttle Buses that are run by ART from the Toy Story Lot. Sometimes you get an issue on any of there routes, but like any sort of mass transportation system, problems pop up, you might get a bad/surly driver, traffic issues, capacity issues on the vehicle and need to wait longer. So IMHO, less steps in the process means less chance for problems to pop up. (And the Toy Story buses can have multiple stops depending on the day (a busier day has a second stop in the usual Cast Member parking area, and Pumbaa, which is also normally a CM lot now, but does get switched if needed).

And you also have the option with a paid ART pass to take the OCTA Route 43/543 bus that goes up and down Harbor.

Edited to add, I just measured the walk from the Stanford to the Toy Story Shuttle pickup area, it is right at 2/3'rds of a mile.

If the Toy Story shuttle is within walking distance I would recommend that over taking the ART. There have been so many bad reviews that personally that would be my last option. Some people will take ART, and that is fine, but I don't think parking at either parking lot/structure is a hassle, and do it a few times each month.

MaryJo, do you understand that ART is the operator of the Toy Story Shuttle that Disney pays for, due to laws that deal with public roadways? (You can see it clearly on the display above the front windshield of the former OCTA buses used).

The issue people have doesn't seem to be with the operator but meeting the schedule and confusion about where it stops. That's not an issue with Toy Story.
