Disney Park Tickets

I often see recommendations for pre-purchasing Disney ticket on here, but am a little confused when they are ften more expensive than paying "at the gate".

I am sure that the last Base Ticket I looked at from a referral on here was over £200, yet on the gate it is abot $230.

Is there really anything to be saved, or a benefit in buying in advance?

Depending on which MYW base tix you wanted, the price of a 7 day is $234.95 and a 10 day is $249.95

But, if you can get tix at the gate for $230 then that's great!

One of the benefits i can see is that if you buy tix in advance of the price increases then you can save some $'s and i usualy always save with that site

there are tickets that are only sold in the UK.
the UK ultimate tickets include the water parks and more option and park hopping option, that you have to pay extra to add if you buy the USA tickets.
a US base ticket may only be $230, but you'll need to pay to add the park hopping and water parks option.

U can do a LOT better buying online with multi day base tickets than at the gate - undercover are always good, mapleleaf too and orlando attractions. Shop around Rascal, money saved means more spends in the parks!

Absolutely !! Thanks for the replies, I shall investigate further. I suspect that as we are only buying Base tickets, then there is not a great deal to be saved. Our kids are too young for the water parks, so that will be a benefit in later years perhaps.
