Disney park tickets price increase

Since we just found out the Disney theme park tickets were going to go up in February I had a couple of questions for our November trip. We are hoping to get the free dining plan off and from what I was told you need to purchase your tickets in a package with the hotel in order to get the free dining. Could we book the hotel & tickets now to get the discount and then hopefully when the free dining comes out if it does we could just add that on and keep the old ticket prices?

No date has been announced for the next price increase (in fact, my understanding is that they're typically announced only a couple of days before they go into effect), although it is safe to assume that prices will increase before November. A free dining package does require the purchase of tickets (I think a minimum of two days), but yes, you can book a package now and if free dining comes out for your dates, you can call and have it added, and the price of your tickets won't change. However, not all resorts are available on free dining offers (or other discounts for that matter), and there's only a limited number of rooms available for any particular discount, so there may not be availability at your resort for your dates, although if you're flexible, you can change the resort or the dates.
