Disney park in Jamaica

so I heard a bizarre rumor this weekend from someone that just returned from Jamaica. They said locals there told them Disney is building a park there and took him by the construction. Now I find this hard to believe as that is not the typical setting for Disney parks. Anyone else heard this one?

Not seen this anywhere. I could possibly see Disney building a DVC resort in Jamaica but not a park.

That was my thought exactly. Maybe a DVC resort but not a theme park.

I am skeptical that this is anything Disney related. If it was under construction already, whether it was a park or DVC, I would think that info would have leaked already.

I agree sphere would be big rumors or leaked info going around and there isn't. So I'm saying false rumor there may be some type of park going there but it ain't disney.

There pretty much 0% chance Disney is opening a park, but if it were DVC, they would have almost certainly announced new construction to get pre-sale going.

DCL is the first thing that came to mind!! DVC is also a good guess!! So- why not both???? It's interesting for sure.

If it was DVC we would have heard about it by now DCL would make the most sense but suspect it's not disney.
