I may be fortunate enough to have a business trip to Paris coming up and am planning to visit Disneyland Paris. I found this article interesting as I also assumed Walt Disney Company owned the parks outside the U.S.

I saw this on Twitter a couple days ago. It's very interesting.

It's the same reason that Tokyo DisneySea is the "most expensive theme park in the world" because Disney only payed for half of it.

I thought everybody knew that the international Disney Parks were joint ventures. (as in, not 100% owned and operated by Disney).

I did, I even think the latest park is more of a franchise agreement.
