I have been reading through some of the posts about Disneyland Paris. For those of you who have booked a reservation using your points, how do you go about doing that? Is it still 7 months out like the rest of the non-home resorts? Or are there other time frames.

Thanks so much for any info you can give me. Trying to get a hang of all of this.

I am also interested. I have also heard however that if you use your DVC points you need a 2 or 3 day min pass to DLP can anyone confirm that? We really only want to stay a night or 2 so not sure using our points would be worth it!

:surfweb: We booked our DLP vacation through DVC member services. I am not sure about the time restrictions though, nobody seemed to mention any being we booked an April trip the December prior. When you call member services there is an extention for DLP. We stayed at Newport Bay Club and really liked it.

I do believe there was a minimum amount of days to stay but we were there for a week. We used it as our base when touring Paris, Normandy etc. We did have to buy admission tickets for every day we stayed at the resort but in the long run it was worth it for staying there with the Disney quality. We did go to the parks most of the days even for a bit after touring Paris.

The parks are smaller than WDW but some rides are better and longer.

I just spoke to MS yesterday about this since we are interested in booking DLP for next summer. There is a 2-night minimum stay, and you have to buy park hopper tickets for all members of your party for the length of stay. The tickets plus the $95 booking fee must be paid for at the time of booking. DLP can be booked 11 months out. Hope that helps!

Thanks, it does help.

I did read that you have to buy length of stay tickets. But I don't think they are very expensive. I could be wrong about that.
