Disney paris app payment problems

Anyone else have problems using their credit card for payment on the park app?

have tried 4 different cards (some visa and some mastercard) and they all get rejected by the app. These cards work everywhere else overseas and have never had this problem before. The bank says there is no issue with the cards.

There doesnt seem to be an alternative contact on the app to get this sorted. is there an email contact or phone number you can use for the park to get such a problem fixed?

im trying to but the unlimited premier park tickets. I gather there is no where else you can buy these except on the app? Have already bought the park tickets (the credit card worked on the app for that).

I tried last Wednesday to pay for my DLP trip and my card kept getting declined as well and I tried different cards to. I booked my flight, hotel, and Paris excursions for the week with no problems. For some reason Disney wouldn’t work. I even called my banks fraud line because I made a lot of expensive international purchases but my card wasn’t locked it was fine to use. Ugh frustrating

Oh no ! I want to say if your already going to paris as a trip and not there just for Disney just show up and try to the buy the tickets there? Bring euros and buy everything in cash since card seems to not be working for us. Im going the end of October and that’s my last resort thing to try and if not then I have an extra day to find something else fun to do. Don’t give up

Can you still buy everything at the park in cash on the day or are you required to use the app to make purchases on the day too?

my concern is that you need the app to make certain purchases now.

You can pay for everything with cash, and at 99% places with card. Some pop up ice cream stands sometimes only take cash.

I am not exactly sure what the OP tries to buy, i assume the Ultimate Premier Access pass.

According to the website you can also buy this via the My Booking section on the website.

Tried the my booking website. But there is no option on the website. It just says you need to go to the app.
 
The Disneyland Paris website and app have been having some issues with some foreign credit cards. For me, hotel payments would never go through on the website using the actual credit card. Fortunately, the web site offers the PayPal option and was able to pay using the exact same credit card via PayPal. My understanding of what can be causing the issue is the inability of the payment processing system used by Disney to conduct a behind the scene form of two step verification on the credit card. Some foreign banks verification system are just not compatible with what Disney is using, so the payment request sort of never makes it to the card issuer and payment is automatically declined. I had a similar issue when attempting to buy Warner Bros/Harry Potter tickers in the UK where, ultimately, only one of my credit card would go through for payment via the third-party payment processing partner... but I can buy train tickets, plane tickets and everything else... You'll be fine using the card on-site (where allowed), it is the online system that is an issue

Thanks that sounds exactly like the problem im having.

i also had a problem with booking a musical in london as well. However, once i rang them up they were happy to book for me and it worked fine,

Unlike disney.
 
update: my purchase finally went through! BUT it’s been a few days and I haven’t gotten an email confirmation with my tickets and the money hasn’t come out of my bank so I’m confused as to if it actually went through or not ugh

I had that happen once when I thought the purchase completed... but it hadn't. Potentially worth logging back onto the website/app to see if the tickets are "somewhere"
 
Also... just noticed an update to the Disneyland Paris app (Android), recently published with a note stating that "we made updates to the security of payments through the app to meet international standards"... so either this update is causing the issue... or is fixing the issue...

Thanks. Tried again on both android and apple and still having the same issue.

hopefully they are looking into this issue.
 
In the park you can go to City Hall for getting help.
In den shops and restaurants you can pay cash, by card or contactless by card if your card can do that (contactless overrules problems I had in the past with my cc in foreign countries).
