Hey Disney fans! I just discovered that Indianapolis has a temporary Disney outlet store. It will only be open from Sept 19 - Oct 27. It is located in the Speedway Supercenter. There's an ad in the paper for an additional 10% off.
I stopped by there tonight. It's mostly DL and DCA stuff - but there's tons of it! I got three snowglobes, a couple of shirts and a few other little things. Discounts range from 25 - 80% off.
Check it out - you might find some great buys!

Thanks ! i will try get get over there tonight! I am leaving for Disney Friday morning without kids but i can leave them some special little somethings, until i get back.

I saw the ad in the paper as well. Is this an official Disney outlet? I was curious about that. The Speedway's going to be busy this w/e with the F1 race :)

I will be in Indy on the 29th and 30th. Any chance of it being open longer?

Wow -- I was so happy to see Indiana Disney fans. I will definitely try to hit the outlet -- here in Bloomington our Disney Store closed and I am heartbroken!

Email me and tell me about your trips -- do you and your families fly or drive?

We are planning to make a day trip to this new store maybe this weekend. We will be coming from Northern Kentucky. Any directions, store hours, or a store phone number would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Not sure what interstate you will be taking from Northern Kentucky but if it is I-65, get off at I-465 W to Crawfordsville Rd exit, go east or right and the Speedway Supercenter is about 1/4 mile on the left. Crawfordsville Rd is the road that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is on.

Thanks, but I didn't get your reply in time. We went up 74, exited near the Speedway, stopped and asked for directions to the Super Center. We went right to it. It was that easy. There were lots of good deals to be had, but since it was 95% DisneyLand merchandise we didn't buy a whole lot. We did enjoy rummaging through it all, though. We plan to go back in a few weeks, as they told us they would be marking things down even more toward the closing date. By the way, it is not a Disney affiliated company, it is a consignment company. So, the Disney Card is not valid there. The merchandise is authentic, though.
