Disney outlet 50% off!

I am so pleased with myself, I just have to tell someone - and who other to tell than the DISers, who will understand my joy. My husband sure won't!

I just returned from the Disney Outlet store (in Jackson, New Jersey) and not only did I have a ball, but there were some great bargains to be found! $3 t-shirts (cute ones, too!) $2 sunglasses. $5 pajama sets. You get the picture. We're not even Disney bound until February, but I snagged a few things to stash away for surprise gifts during the trip. Hopefully my husband will applaud me for my frugality, and not roll his eyes that I'm buying "souvenirs" six months in advance.

I hit the same sale last week in my local Disney store in NY.

I got 4 $3 t-shirts for myself for my trip in Sept.
I got 4 $3 t-shirts for my son
Only 1 $3 Tshirt for DH (they only had 1 men's style)
I a few of the $5 PJs to DS
I also got a Mickey toy set for the bath
3 sets of plastic figures
some little toys for DS to play with on the plane
and some of the scrunched up facecloths at .49 ea.

It was a great sale and a great time!

Yay for you guys! Those are great bargains! I can't wait to head out to my Disney Store Outlet tomorrow (received a 15% off coupon that I can use tomorrow from my last visit) and I'm hoping there will be some adult size clothes left for me to snag!

that's awesome all the deals you got!! our NY Disney store is closing (boo-hoo!!) I'm very sad!!

we're leaving for disney this coming saturday, and i have surprise gift baskets for the kids for that morning (it's a surprise!), most of the items i got a while ago. I also have their disney gift baskets half done for our January 09 disney trip. so i'm like you - when i find a bargain, I get it!!

I signed up just to post on this thread! I am new to the whole Disney thing (went 2ce when as a child) but now planning for DM (is that the right abbreviation for my Disney Mom??), DD12 , DD9 & myself. Our trip is scheduled Dec. 29-Jan 5. I am SOOOO excited! I have been reading the DIS for weeks... and found so many great tips! Here is what I want to share: we don't have a Disney store in Montreal (Canada), but I have access to it online through my home-based online mall. So I got on it and bought tons of T-shirts, clothes, etc. for my girls, matching shirts for the 4 of us, even a GRUMPY T-shirt for my husband (he doesn't get the Disney Magic Vibe...). I got stuffed animals and other Disney trinkets from value stores, online auctions, etc. I am already packing up on souvenirs, as many other DISers suggest. I plan on giving stuff to my girls everyday that we are there, with a theme going on such as: Lion King stuff when we get back from AK, HSM & HM when we visit DHS... so much fun!
