Disney/Orlando/Florida Inspired Baby Girl Names

I am on a birth board for babies born in Nov. 2011 and one of the baby girls is actually named Disney!

And to the PP who asked, yes it is entirely possible to have a 4 mo old and be pg again. Haven't you ever heard of siblings who were 13 months apart? My husband has 2 siblings who are only 10 months apart! Yikes!

It's totally possible to have a 4 mo old and be pg. I think the question was whether it's possible to have a 4 mo old and be far enough along to know the gender of the baby you are carrying. Not to mention, a baby conceived on a Disney trip that happened 4 months ago.

Having said that, my assumption is merely that the OP hasn't updated her signature in a few months.

I really love Aurora but is it too obviously Disney?!

I think, in part, it depends on the name of your first daughter.

Aurora on it's own is fine, and the nickname Rory is really cute. But if your first daughter is Belle or Ariel, it's too much.

You could give her a beautiful French name (Amelie, Elodie, Sylvie), although I'd hesitate to advertise the fact it was a conception name. Kids go through a pretty long stage of being mortified thinking about their origins and the act that created them.

My uncles are Irish Twins (they share a birthday). I am an Irish Twin (my brother was born 11 days before my first birthday). DDs are Irish Twins (DD#2 was born 6 days before her sister's first birthday).

I fully expect Irish Twin grandchildren!

Anyway - I can't help with a Disney name, but my advice would be to not choose something that is overtly Disney. Try to think of something more subtle.

Congratulations!

I don't know if I'd want my kid to have to play that event in their mind every time someone asks them why they are named what they are.

Congrats on you little girl. MY thought is possibly a stretch, but I thought of Stella, which means "star" When you wish upon a Star :) If I think of others, I"ll be back. It also helps with the whole how did your parents come up with your name. It was a pretty name that means star etc. Only those you wish to know will know. GL!

Belle for Tinkerbelle & Belle of Beauty & beast.

Dawn, Rosetta & Iradessa are the faries, but check the spelling. Not my high point this time of day.

Just keep in mind that while you are looking for this cutesy name, your child has to grow up and become an adult with it.
