Disney on the Travel Channel

4:00- Disneyland Resorts Behind the Scenes
5:00- Disney Imagineers
6:00- Undiscovered WDW
7:00-Disney Animal Kingdom

Is the Travel Channel owned by ABC/Disney? They show a lot of Disney related shows. And I enjoy them everytime they are on!

I would suspect that the shows will be very informative in terms of getting an itinerary(?) together. That is what I am doing NOW! The excitement is overwhelming

Undiscovered WDW has been on several times and is just awful.

They talk about people not knowing about:
Fantasmic!
Spectro-magic
DTD
DQ
Water Parks

Who goes there and does not know about these?!?!?!?!?!?

Alot of people are unaware of these attractions. Some people think it is just the MK from when they were kids and don't bother following things like we do

I can't believe i missed it....does anyone know when a repeat will be on for any of these shows

You'd be surprised. I went in January of 2002 for the first time in 16 years, and I had NO clue about a lot of these things. I saw Fantasmic because of the Disney information channel, and I knew about Downtown Disney just from what my fiancée had told me about it. And I'd seen Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon on the travel channel, but just on those top 10 water park type of shows.

For anyone who stays off-property, these things may not be fore-front. I did NO research for that January 2002 trip. I didn't know I'd NEED to!

I had NO clue about Spectromagic, or DisneyQuest, either!

Missyc, as long as you are not joking Spectromagic is the nightime light parade that replaces Main St. Electric Light Parade. Here is a website for it. http://www.spectromagic.com/ Definatly something not to be missed.

Travel channel often get on a "theme" type programming, sometimes I wonder if they are the "Las Vegas" channel, also.

I agree with that thought, Tiberius!!

I love Disney specials (of course), but I get really sick of seeing so much stuff about Las Vegas! There are so many things the travel channel could show its viewers around the WORLD! I'd love to see Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, etc! Rather, they decide to show the "World Poker Tour." ughh it annoys me so much.

There not owned, but anywhere you can travel, depending on the season will probably be on.
I am watching the travel channel now and it is not on. In fact any of these shows are not on. Todays schedule is as follows...

It must be like when you get a new car. It seems like you see the same car you are driving everywhere when you hardly saw it at all before you bought it. Guess since I am going to WDW I pay more attention to the Disney show on Travel.

I love the travel channel, but lately all I see is shows about Vegas. Now I love Vegas also, but geez Idon't want to see 15 shows about it everyday

I love the disney shows, even if it's something I already know.
