Anybody Know If Any Of Those Specials Are Specific To Christmas At Disney? I Remember Watching One A While Ago, But Since I Wasn't Planning At The Time, I Didn't Think To Tape It.
I have one saved on my Tivo from last Christmas , that I think is called Holidays at Walt Disney World. I believe that it aired on Food Network, and basically showed all of the things that the chefs made to display at the various hotels, along with a few other various holiday happenings around the "world".
IF that doesn't get you the urge to cruise with Disney I don't know what will! We cruised on Carnival and to me it was nice but boring. I hated the casino, left sneakers at home so I could not work out, so all I did was explore and eat.
Looks like there are so much more things to do on Disney! No movie theatre on Carnival, and the shows were just ok. Lot's of boring games and auctions to try to get your money. Top deck was PACKED! The ship seemed so small. No party when the boat launched.
Geez, my seven year old son looked at me and said, why didn't we go on that boat?
The last time I saw the cruise show, I sent for the cruise DVD - watched it and then read some of the threads on the Disney Cruise boards. I just don't know if a cruise is right for me but it does sound like fun.
More Disney TV!!!!!!!!!!! I need some new shows -- I've seen all these before and even though they are great, I need some new stuff.
PS - don't miss the ones on Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge - I loved those - but you can't pry me away from the Poly!!!
Can anyone tell me if the travel channel is a special channel? Does it not come with basic comast cable b/c I can't find it? I would highly appreciate some help. Thanks.

Hi, sorry if I'm being nosey, but I like to try and help others. I went to the Comcast site, and on the main page at the bottom of the screen is a link for the channel lineup. You have to enter your address to get your local lineup. Hope this helps you! BTW, there is also a place on the Travel Channel site where you can have them send a request to your local cable provider to show the Travel Channel.
mdhkitten - Thank you so much! I'm going to go check out those websites. I don't want to miss all these WDW specials! I love the ones on the foodnetwork but never knew about the travel channel. I appreciate the help
I believe the channel we get here in Canada is CTV Travel. The one showing the disney stuff is the Discovery Travel Channel. I checked my provider's website, and they don't offer Discovery Travel. Darn!
