Couldn't figure out the best place to post this but my 2.5 year old loves disney princesses (we just got her 5 at the disney store) and there is going to be a disney on ice princess show next months.

Anyone ever been to one? Is it good for 2.5 yr olds?
Are they really crowded like a concert?

I took my DD for the first time when she was 3, and she really enjoyed it. The only issue we had was that she got cold because we were pretty close to the ice.

I have a DNiece3.5 who is totally into the princesses. Disney on Ice was her first "show" type of event when she was barely 2. She loved it. She did however spend the show on someone's lap so she could see. We had great seats, about 4 rows from the ice. Just be prepared that the Disney on Ice and Disney Live snacks and merchandise are very expensive. Popcorn or cotton candy is usually $10-$12 but does usually come with some sort of cheap plastic hat. Also note that many of the little girls wear princess dresses!

We took DD at 15 months old. She liked it a lot. I will say she liked when Mickey and friends were out the most (which was only a small part of the show), but she still happily watched everything else.

We had 3rd row I think? That really helped because she could really see everything.

The ones by us vary on how crowded they are, but since its assigned seating, it can never really be "too" crowded.

We're taking DD again in January when she's 27 months old.

We love Disney on Ice and have seen the princess one with DS. It was the one that came to our area that year and we did not want to skip a year....well HE LOVED IT!!! It was, as they all are, very wonderful. It was fine for a boy or girl. There is Princess toys EVERYWHERE so be prepared. We got a boys sword type light up thing that cost way too much but has been played with a lot and still works great. Food will be way expensive too. We got away with taking a pack of goldfish in as DS has food allergies but they were turning away most snacks being carried in.
Our show this year comes back in October and we get seat 1/2 price for some shows since we went last year!!!!!

Thanks. I got tickets. Best one we can afford were 17th row. You think she will be able to see and enjoy it?

Took r daughter when she was 18 months old and plan on going again this year at 2 and a half. Where we went was stadium seating so not a bad seat in the house. She had trouble sitting through the whole thing so we took a few breaks and let her run around in the concourse area. Best part is to this day she tells us every morning she dreamed about ice skates. Priceless!

We took my oldest when she was two and she loved it. She didn't even want to get up during intermission. Your seats should be good :)

Yay!! I'm excited. Hope I can sit through it though I'll be 38 weeks pregnant!!

Not like a concert at all. It's a lot of fun for the kids. I have been taking DD since she was 2. 8 years later, she still loves to go every December for our DOI trip, just her and I.

It's a family crowd as you can guess.

We took DD at 2.5. She loved it. I was afraid that she wouldn't pay attention, but I was wrong.

We took our daughter on her half birthday at 2.5. She loved it and it held her attention the entire time. She pretty much stood throughout it but she could see fine. We had midlevel seats. She wore her princess dress and that made it fun. Definitely bring snacks with you. We also ended up buying a light up toy, but refused the $15 snow cone she wanted. Be prepared for that.

I think it depends on the 2.5 yr old. My son started going to movies and Disney on Ice when he was 18months old and always did great. My daughter is much more antsy and we didn't even attempt it with her until she was closer to 3.5. There's quite a bit of down time and sitting still time, but the shows are great!

we have gone the last couple years since my oldest was 2 and she loves it! The merchandise and snacks are a little ridiculously overpriced...but of course we bought it LOL!

So much fun. We went when my daughter was 3 and 5. She had a blast. This last time, her two year old brother came along and had a great time too!

We've always taken our DD, who is a teen now. This year we took DD and our 1 year old niece. My niece loved it. She got a little bit restless towards the end, but she was clapping and pointing at the characters. It was the cutest :)

I was thinking about taking my 2.5 year old son to the "Princesses and Heroes" show. Is that the show you're talking about? DS loves live performances and I thought that he might really enjoy it. Is it at all scary? The description mentions Eric breaking Ursula's curse and Prince Philip defeating Maleficent.

We are going this upcoming weekend, and I was coming to see if anyone here had ever had floor row seats? We have seats that are second row back on the floor? My aunt picked the seats, but now I am worried we are too close to actually be able to see? Does this make sense? Just trying to get reassurance we will still be able to see everything..Lol.
